(A/N): Sorry for not writing for a bit because school is keeping me on my toes but the holidays started and now I had the opportunity to write again, yippee! Anyways back to the story now.
3rd POV: Time flys by fast after the family settled in their new home.
Later that evening, the family had all gathered at the dinner table since they decided to order pizza to celebrate and it's on the way. After a while, there was a knock on the door. Sabrina and Amy went over to see who was at the door and it was the pizza delivery guy. Bri took the three pizza boxes that the guy, thanked him and settled the boxes on the table. Some of the pizza slices are either bigger or smaller than the others which was kinda odd for them to say.

All of a sudden, the lights went out. Ben went down to the basement to check the electricity. But what was weird is that the living room is still on and the tv had a countdown on it. The family went over to see whats happening on the news. After the countdown, the Emergency Broadcast showcase a group of bad guys wearing masks and suits breaking into a place as the reporter said 'This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. The purge has begun, villains are on the loose and should be avoided. Do not engage with them or you might get injured or killed. Towns are invaded and destroyed. I repeat, this is not a drill. Stay inside, protect your families, keep your doors locked and windows closed.' 'Their leader is Scary Larry, if you see them, you need to run or hide.' The reporter said as the screen showed an old man wearing a purple suit with a purple mask and a black hat with a flower on it, he is also seen holding a golden crowbar and he had a rose on his suit. That was the end of the broadcast.

The family sat in slience for a while until someone broke it. 'Should we be worried about this right now?' Elise Than said. 'Of course we have to be, gurl!' Elise's best friend Wan Szezi scolded her while the others gave Elise 'the side eye' 'Alright everyone, it's time for bed so get going and ready.' Serene said. Everyone went upstairs and to their assigned bedrooms. They got ready for bed and fell asleep. Hopefully they had nothing to worry about after that broadcast...

Later that night, the family members were asleep tight in their bed when out of the blue, they heard a crashing sound and glass breaking. They woke up almost immediately, they realised that one or two of the bedrooms are being attacked by the bad guys. Thankfully the grownups had given the teenagers weapons that they could use earlier. The parents and teacher can hear the bad guys getting beat up by the teens as they are outnumbered by them.
The next morning, everyone woke up early to prepare for the next break in. They boarded up all the windows around the house and every corner. 'Whew, this should enough to hold them back!' Crystal said proudly. 'Yeah, I don't think so though. ' Angie replied doubtfully.
During the evening at the dinner table, the family sat in slience as the table only has three leftover pizza slices from yesterday. The slices were given to the hungry ones since the others weren't really hungry. After dinner, we went back to bed and fell asleep. The same thing happened as the last night with the bad guys again but this time with the grownups, luckily they kicked them in the faces.
They all woke up in the morning and went to the living room to discuss on what to do next. 'The boards weren't enough to hold the bad guys back, what are we going to do now?' Amy said worried. Ben who's her husband patted her back to calm her down. 'It's okay, dear. We will figure this out together with our family.' 'Yeah, mom. We are all in this together and we'll work together to figure all of this out.' Angie said while her mother's hand tightly but not too tight and the rest had joined them. Amy smiled and pulled them all into a group hug. All of them pulled away quickly because they had another problem to work on, the purge and they might need preparations for tomorrow...
(Wow, chapter 2 is done, I wrote when I was at after school hours and finished at home, so enjoy the story so far!)
