As Lilith stomped over to the duke's office, she felt her breath quicken.
This man, had a lot of explanation to do.
At his doors, there were two guards.

Lilith frowned, as she spoke.
"I need to see the Duke...."

"I'm sorry Miss Lilith, he is working and instructed no disturbance when he works."
The guards responded without looking at her, just staring ahead completely.

She gritted her teeth squinted her eyes.
She didn't care about anything right now, she had to see this Duke of theirs.
"I need to see the Duke now!."

"Miss I already told-"

"Get out of my way!."
Lilith pushed past the speaking guard with a hiss as she flung the doors of the office open.

The Duke was busy at some of his duty, when he heard a feminine voice from the other side of the door.
The Duke sneered, assuming it was Marietta.
She was becoming very displeasing with her many demands, day in and day out.
He was somewhat satisfied, that he'd told the guards not to let anyone in.

As he began to relax into the troubling papers, the doors were flung open and banged hard on the walls as it's hinges groaned under pressure.

The Duke was angry.
How dare someone defy him?....

His very cold eyes looked up to see an identical pair, filled with immense rage, glaring back at him.

Why....this was his second daughter, this was Lilith.

She walked over quickly to him and pointed a finger straight in his face.
She was like a completely different person.
The way she glared at him and now even had the audacity to bang through his doors and point at his face without a whimper or shiver.
He couldn't help the amusement that was filling him up.
Was he finally.....proud?.

"Father.....You will change my state of living in this house.
I cannot continue to be like this!."
She frowned and crossed her hand, while still staring very intently at him.

"And why should I do that?, I am the Duke and I can do whatever I want in this Manor!. Even disown a bastard child like you."

Lilith felt somewhat lifted, like her spirit had been raised and her eyes began to shine.
"So I'm disowned?!, that's very much better, thank you."
She smiled very brightly, it stunned him for a moment.

Was she happy about being disowned.
"No need for formalities then, I'll be leaving this.....Manor."
She took a slight bow, very slight almost a nod and turned to leave.

The Duke's eyes widened as he saw her going and before he knew it, his voice boomed all over the whole room.

"You shall not leave this place!. How dare you try to disgrace this family, unfilial!."

"You can not order me otherwise, I am no longer you daughter. And I am leaving."
She stared him up and down.

"Well I take it back, you are no longer disowned. But you will be staying here. You cannot put this family in shame."
His voice was getting higher and higher.

This child.
This child was the only person that had made him lose his temper this much.
What a child!.

"You've lost your right to control since now, it is not your decision to make anyway. I do not agree for the re-owning. I'm not an object. You cannot stop me."
She jammed the doors on her way out.

The Duke heaved and heaved. He wanted to tape her shut and tie her to a chair.
But, he couldn't break his promise to his love, he couldn't let that child leave the Manor.

He rammed his fist in the wall.
What was he so worked up about anyway?.
If she wanted to be a victim of ridicule then so be it...

Lilith was walking back to her room, when she saw a figure upfront, staring intently at her.

He had the same hair as the Duke.
Silver hair and yellow eyes just like Marietta. It was probably one of the twin brothers.
Her half brother..

She just stared him up, and made to pass him.
But he grabbed her arm in a tight grip.

"What did you do to Marietta?!."
Lilith wanted to slap her face with a strange feeling that forced her to scrunch her face in disbelief.

What is wrong with this place?!
