Raku's POV
Summer was almost over and we would be heading back to school soon. I sighed as I dropped myself onto the bed. Chitoge came into the room and started chuckling at me.
"Are you gonna get ready or not?"
"Probably not.."
"Don't be like that, let's just enjoy our last day of summer while we can."
I turned around to look at her and smile. She laid down beside me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I place a hand on her cheek and started caressing it, she chuckled and sat up. I laid my head down on her lap and hugged her waist. "Raku, get up." She said. I shook my head and started hugging her tighter. "Raku, we have to go." She started getting irritated and I smiled. I got up and began stretching.
"Okay okay. I'm up let's go."
"Finallyyyyyy"
We started making our way towards the beach and saw our friends starting up a bonfire. "Chitoge-chan! Over here!" Onodera shouted. Chitoge ran over to the girls and helped them light up the bonfire. I walked over to Shu who handed me a soda, I opened it and started drinking. "I bumped into a pretty cool guy the other day and invited him over her." He said. I looked at him in confusion, before I could ask who I turn around to see Tadashi.
"H-HIM!?"
"Yeah him, why? do you know him?"
"He's the guy I told you about!"
"Oh.. You mean the guy that said Chitoge deserves better than you?"
"Yeah!"
"Dude, it's fine. I'm sure he just said that to toughen you up."
I highly doubt that.. Tadashi walked up to us and greeted us with a smile. "Hey, Shu." They both did a high five and started laughing.
"Darling, come help out with the fire."
"Hello, Chitoge."
"Oh, Tadashi! Nice to see you!"
I grabbed Chitoge's hand and started walking towards the bonfire. "Raku, why-" "I forgot to tell you this, but when Tadashi and I first met he told me you deserved better than me." Her eyes widened at me, "Why would Tadashi say something like that? He's a really nice guy." My eyes widened at her, "How could you think that!?" I shouted.
Tadashi walked over to us and stood next to Chitoge, "is everything okay?" He asked. Chitoge looked over at him, "Tadashi, did you tell Raku I deserved better than him?" Tadashi's eyes widened, "Why would I? Obviously, you both deserve each other!" This damn bastard of a liar!! Chitoge looked at me and crossed her arms, "Darling?" I looked at her and knew what that stare meant.. She wanted me to apologize.
I sighed, "I'm sorry."
"It's fine. Let's just all have a nice last day of summer." Tadashi smiled.
