2 Weeks after the dance..
Raku's POV
I laid on my bed with my arm over my eyes. Chitoge was getting married today.. She invited me but I told her I was busy.
flashback
"Wait, you and him are getting married in 2 weeks?" I asked in shock. Chitoge nodded her head and smiled, "and I wanna invite you to the wedding." I tried my best to smile for her, but I couldn't. I was broken.. she was getting married.. not to me.. but to him. I felt my chest tighten and a pain in my throat.
"Tadashi?" I shook my head. "I-I'm sorry.. But.. I'll be busy because well.. I have work and well yeah.." She gave me a sad look. "Oh.. Okay.. I see.."
I felt the tears come down my face. This is it.. I gave up.. Chitoge was in love with someone else.. I cried some more knowing that I lost her..
At the wedding..
Chitoge's POV
"Wow, Chitoge you look so beautiful in that dress!" I looked over to see Raku's sister and smiled lightly. "Thanks.." She looked at me worriedly and had me sit in a nearby chair. "Everything okay?" She asked me. "It's just.. My friend.. I wanted him to show up at my wedding.." She raised an eyebrow at me. "He?" I nodded at her, "I just.. really wanted him to be here you know?" She looked at me and embraced me into a hug. "Everything will be okay. Promise." She smiled.
We heard the piano playing and knew it was time for the wedding. She smiled at me and we got up, "it's time." She smiled. I smiled at her as she walked out the room to join her family at their seats. I grabbed my bouquet and made my way down the aisle. Everyone was in awww when they saw me walking down the aisle. I started smiling when I saw Raku and stood beside him on the alter.
"I'd wait forever for you" I heard a voice say in my head. "I love you too, Gorilla." Who.. Why--
"Chitoge-chan! Don't do this!" I looked over at the church doors to see that girl in my class, Onodera with her friend.. Ruri? "Don't do it, Young Miss! He isn't the one you love!" Who.. My head started to hurt and I started clutching it. "Get out of here! You weren't invited!" Raku shouted.
Security tried to push them out, "Chitoge-chan! Remember please! Remember us! Ichijou-kun! Your nisekoi!" My eyes widened and memories started coming back to me. A boy with dark blue hair arguing with me, taking me out on dates, confessing his feelings to me came into my mind.
"Call me Chitoge."
"O-okay.. Chitoge.."
"Yeah... Raku.."
My eyes widened and I looked down at the ground. I remember everything now.. I looked up to see Tadashi in front of me giving me a worried look. "Babe?" I glared at him and pushed him away, "leave me alone, bastard." I said as I ran out the church to go back home to him.
Raku's POV
I laid in my bed and I was finally done crying. Chitoge and him were probably celebrating right now with their friends and family.. I buried my face into the pillow and groaned.
"I'm home" I heard a familiar voice say. My eyes widened and I looked up to see her. I felt the tears stream down my cheek and thought I was dreaming until she walked up to me. I stood up and walked over to her, I embraced her into a hug and started crying. "I'm home, darling.. I'm home.." She said. I couldn't say anything.. I kept crying.. She was home.. She was home again.. I pulled away from her and looked at her. She was in her wedding dress and I smiled. "You're still beautiful." I said pulling her into a kiss. We pulled away and smiled, "I missed you. " I said. "I'm here now. You don't have to miss me anymore." She said.
