Raku's POV
The next morning I said my goodbyes to the Yakuzas as well as dad and thanked them for everything. "Remember son, don't come back to this house without any grandchildren!" Damn old man.. I thought to myself as I left.
I had made it to the house and saw Chitoge already waiting for me outside. "Hello, darling." She smiled. "You're here pretty early, when did you get here?" I asked as I made my way into the house. "Early than you." She teased. "Haha, very funny. Did you unpack your things yet?" I asked. She crossed her arms, "well no. I got pretty lazy." She said. "You gotta stop being lazy you know.." She glared at me, "Isn't that why you're here? To unpack my stuff for me?" "Me!? Unpack your stuff!?" I shouted.
She scoffed, "well you are my soon to be husband aren't you!?" "Yeah! But not your slave!" I retorted. We kept arguing and arguing and soon we stopped and started laughing. "Guess old habits never die." She said walking into one of the bedrooms. I followed behind her and drop my things onto the bed. "So we're sleeping in this room?" I asked looking around. She looked at me, "Yeah. Look out the window." I looked out the window to see the beach that was filled with lots of people.
She started unpacking her clothes and putting them away into a closet. I decided I'd put my clothes into a drawer that way we wouldn't stress over our clothes being a mess in the closet. "So what should we do now?" She asked me. I thought about telling everyone else about our engagement so I guess it's a good time. "We could invite everyone over and tell them the news." I said.
She walked over to the bed and sat down. "I guess we could." She smiled. We started calling up our friends to come over to our place to tell them the big news. "CHITOGE-CHAN'S BACK!?" Onodera shouted. "Y-yeah.." I chuckled. That's what almost everyone said when I called them over to our place. Marika hasn't left for the Bahamas yet so she's coming over.
"Everyone sure is happy about you coming back." I told her. She laughed, "I'm surprised." I smiled at her and sat next to her on the bed. I remembered the rings my dad gave me and took them out. "Rings again?" She said. "Dad gave them to me, my mom's been saving these for me for when I found the girl I wanna marry." I looked at her and smiled. She blushed and looked away from me, "y-you're not even sure if you wanna marry me. Sure you asked me but-" I grabbed her hands and pulled her into my lap. "I'm absolutely sure I wanna marry you." I whispered into her ear.
I could tell she was blushing a deep shade of red and smiling. "You're such an idiot, you know?"
Okay.. this chapter didn't turn out okay.. but I tried.. :(
