(Short) Ch.2 stargazing

After they arrived home, Matt notified the crew that he had ordered them a new air conditioning to be delivered by tomorrow from a store near them. Edd and Tom smiled nervously, praying Matt had bought the right one. Tord stumbled into his bedroom after being exhausted from the trip, and Matt happily walked into his own bedroom.

Tom and Edd trudged wearily through their shared home, the weight of exhaustion seemed to hang heavily on their shoulders. Tom let out a heavy sigh as he flopped onto the red couch. Meanwhile, Edd bounced onto the couch with an infectious grin, seemingly unaffected by the trip.
As they settled into the comfort of their home, the idea of stargazing suddenly sparked in Edd's mind. "Hey, Tom?" Tom turned his head to his friend, "huh?" Edd continued, "Let's go on the roof to look at the stars, yeah?" Tom smiled "Oh. Uhhh sure. why not, mate."

The two friends made their way up to the roof, climbing through a window, guided by the bright glow of the moon illuminating the night sky and the gentle rustling of leaves in the cool night breeze in contrast to the previous temperature . As they emerged onto the roof, a breathtaking scene unfolded before them. The city lights twinkled in the distance, casting a warm glow over the urban landscape, while above, the stars shimmered like diamonds, the moon reflecting a strangely comforting light.
Under the night's blanket of stars, a shift seemed to occur between them. they gazed upwards towards the stars. As the two men lay on their backs looking up at the stars, a comfortable silence settled with the men, interrupted every now and then by the chirp of a cricket or the call of an owl nearby.
Edd yawned and pointed at a bear-shaped constellation.
"Look, Tom. The Ursa Major."
Tom chuckled and replied
"Why do you care so much about constellations, Edd?"
Edd smiled and his voice had a tinge of excitement, though he spoke in a calm tone "I just think it's so amazing that the stars aligned in such a way that it makes a shape the we can recognize."
Tom rolled his eyes- I mean.. black pits, and smiled "I didn't think you were that smart." Tom teased.
Edd chuckled and nudged Tom with his elbow "oh, I'm not that dumb, you twat."
Edd yawned and as they looked at the stars, the silence was interrupted by Edd's loud snoring. Tom sighed and looked annoyed. Tom stood up and with a bit of a struggle, he lifted up Edd and opened the window with his foot in which he slid back inside and almost dropped Edd. He creaked through the house until making it to Edd's bedroom. He walked inside and dropped Edd onto his bed with a sigh of relief and tiredness. Tom walked towards the exit of the bedroom and stopped at the doorway. He looked behind him at sleeping Edd.. he felt a tinge of blush crawl across his face, he shook his head and shut the door behind him as he walked back to his own bedroom.
