Without You

Dunk was packing his bags happily. Finally he got some free time and his friends also got free time. They can go on a vacation together. It's been so long Dunk had a vacation with his friends. He wanted to go on a vacation with friends for a long time. Specially with Joong.

Joong, his acting partner. Dunk met him everyday for work. But that was it. They didn't even had a time for a proper meal together. They both had different schedules. As soon as one work finished they were rushed to another. At the end of the day both were tired to the core and headed to home. Dunk's thoughts were interrupted when his phone started to ring. Dunk saw the caller id and his face break into a smile. It was none other than Joong.

"Are you miss me that much? Couldn't you wait for few more hours?" Dunk asked as he lying on the bed. But the voice came from the other side was not Joong's.

"Dunk, I'm Joong's aunt. Joong is sick and admitted to the hospital."

"WHAT?" Dunk stood up from his bed in a lightning speed. He took his keys and ran out of the house. The phone was still on his ear.

"Auntie, in which hospital is he in? I'm coming." Joong's aunt gave him the address and Dunk drove to the hospital as fast as he can. It didn't take him much time to find Joong's room.

Joong was on the hospital bed. His aunt was sitting on the sofa beside and there was a pile of clothes on the bedside table. It looks like a hospital gown. Dunk was sure that Joong had refused to wear it.

"What happened to you?" Joong was surprised to see Dunk at the hospital.

"How come you are here? Did you tell him?" Joong turned to his aunt. His aunt shrugged his shoulders and stood up from the sofa.

"I'll stay outside." Then she left the room.

"What happened Joong?" Dunk asked coming closer.

"It was just a stomachache. Nothing serious." Joong tried to smile at Dunk to ensure that he was fine. But Dunk could clearly see that Joong was in pain. Dunk sighed and sat beside Joong.

"Joong, I told you before. If you don't feel well then tell me. Don't wait until it gets worst. Now see what happened." Dunk scolded Joong with a pout. Joong couldn't help but smile at Dunk's cute pout.

"You are so cute when you are angry." Joong said while pinching Dunk's cheeks.

"Yaah.. Joong, let me go.. stop pinching me." Dunk tried to free himself from Joong but Joong was stronger. He grabbed both Dunk's arms and pulled him closer until he was laying on top of Joong. Suddenly the tension inside the room went up. Both Joong and Dunk could felt eachother's breath clearly. Dunk tried to move again but Joong pulled him closer more.

Joong's gaze was so intense that Dunk didn't want to look anywhere else. He kept looking at Joong's dark brown eyes. Dunk felt Joong leaned closer to him. Their lips almost touching.

Just as their lips were about to touch, the door burst open, startling both Dunk and Joong. In walked a nurse, carrying a tray of medications and a doctor following closely behind.

"Joong, sorry to interrupt," the doctor said with a gentle smile. "I need to check up on Joong and administer his medication."

Reluctantly, Joong released Dunk and sat up as the nurse approached with the tray. Dunk moved back to give them space, feeling a mixture of disappointment and relief. He watched as the doctor examined Joong, his concern evident on his face.

"His condition is not serious. But he needs to rest for few days at the hospital." Doctor said as he prescribed some medication to Joong. Both Joong and Dunk nodded their heads in doctor's advice.
