Chapter 4: New Life...!

I woke up in the morning. I looked at the clock, it was 6:00am. I got off my bed and went to the toilet. I came back out and saw Jack standing there waiting to go next. "Jack, when did you wame up? Your school time starts at 9, which means you wake up at 7. It's only 6 o'clock". "I know Emily, it's just that I needed to go to the toilet so I couldn't sleep. I'm just going to get ready now and watch T.V". "Ok, Jack as you wish. I'm going to get ready. Bye".

I walked to my bedroom and put on my clothes for school. I heard Sheila's voice calling for me from the kitchen. "Em, are you ready, sweetie? Your breakfast is ready for you to eat". "Yes...um...mum, ill be down in another 15 minutes". I hesitated a little while calling Sheila ' mum '. I slipped on my socks, then shoes and then neatend up my hair a little.

I was walking down towards the kitchen to get my breakfast. "I'm here, mum". "Oh good, come on sit at the table and I'll serve you the breakfast. Your dad will be down soon asw to have his breakfast so he could leave for office". I replied with a confused line on my face, "oh okay". "Here he comes, your daddy called Rodger. Okay then what would you both like, toast or cereal with milk or juice"? I was certain that I was going to have cereal with milk because that's what I normally used to have. "I'll have cereal with milk please". Sheila poured the milk into my bowl. following on she poured the coco pops into the same bowl aswel. As soon as I finished my breakfast I said bye to Sheila and Rodger and went out.

I was walking down the empty, damp, long road that lead to my old school. I'm kind of thankful that at least I dont have to leave this school and go to a new one. I really like this school, more than I would like any other one. I reached to the school gate where all my friends were standing. I waved at Chloe, she looked at me, but then ignored and looked away. I was confused about why Chloe did that because she is my best friend. I then waved at Hannah, she turned to Chloe, whispered something in her ear and then looked away. Why are they both acting so wierd? What is the reason behind their strange, awkward, wierd behaviour?
