In the morning, I woke up next to a furry ball of hair.
"Horus," I mumble sleepily, "you really should stop attacking me this early in the morning." I push horus off of the bed and i sit up but promptly fall off the bed after i see horus attacking leo once again....
"HORUS,let him sleep!!" i whisper yell while struggling to pull him away from leo after running up to them. Instead of fear, i noticed Leo was laughing...?
"What the heck...?" i ask puzzled
"He was licking my face," leo said, chuckling.
"Oh, well in that case,", i drop horus onto Leo's lap again "Wait, why are you in my room...? Weren't you downstairs?"
"Yea well, do you not remember anything?" Leo asked looking puzzled
Initially, I shook my head but nodded after thinking. "Oooooooh... wait did you just sit there the entire night? Sleeping?! That must've been so uncomfortable!! You should have used the guest bedroom"
"What guest bedroom?" Leo asked
"The one down the hall idiot!" I said laughing
"In my defense, I don't know your house and you're still unpacking so ha"

I roll my eyes and shake my head. "Does your mom know you're here?"
"Texted her...don't worry"
"Fine fine...anyway.... I'm gonna head down to the library room downstairs for a bit. Don't kill each other"
I make my way downstairs and walk into my library
Now, where was that book?
I walk over to the chair i tossed the book onto last night
I could've sworn I left it here... what the heck?
I look over to my desk sitting in the middle of the library and see the book flipped open to the same page again.
"Well that's ominous" I whispered, walking over to it. I look at it with suspicion and realize that the name of the vampire is crossed out "What the heck?" I flipped through all the pages to find Hyun Dal's name scratched off "That... that's not possible... no one was even here all night!" I whispered to myself, lightly panicking.
"Leo?!" I call out. "Leo!! Get down here right now!!!"
Leo comes into the library giggling, holding horus on his head.
"What the... anyway....were you in here yesterday after i fell asleep in my room?"
Leo just simply shakes his head "no, why?"
I hesitate not knowing whether or not to tell him the real reason why"this...this one book wa-" the door bell ringing cuts me off
"Stay here" i say to leo before going to the door and opening it
"Hello?" i look around but no one's around, thats when i look down and see a box. I pick up the box cautiously and take it into the library and set it on a table.
"Oooooh what is it?" leo asked, running to me and looking over my shoulder
"I don't know yet... should i open it?" i ask
"Well no duh...it is for you isn't it?"
"I don't know" i shrug "Someone just left it at my doorstep"
Leo gasps dramatically"A SECRET ADMIRER!!!!!"
I face palm"Leo...calm down....i haven't met anyone but you since i've arrived...theres no way its a secret admirer"
Leo giggles and pokes my ribs and says singsongy "you got a secret admirerrrrr!! Open open open!!!"
"OKAY! OKAY! Fine... I'll open it."
I take a pair of scissors, cut the tape off the box, and open the box up. Inside, I see a card and a pendant with an hourglass.
"Leo...i don't think this is for me..." i whisper, very confused.
Leo in turn just groaned"Just open the dang card Aera."
"FINE! Fine! Just quit your nagging." I groan and open the card and read it aloud. "To my princess...I finally found you..."
