"Throw it out"

I groan"What happened to all that he-wrote-it-for-you nonsense?"

Leo says coldly "That was before I knew it was him"

"Leo...don't be rash..."

"I thought you didn't want it anyway...."

"Leo...i....come on....did you read the card?"

"I did and i don't want you to keep it anymore"

"You're not my mom Leo..."

"But i care about you"

"You've known me for 3 fricking days!"

Leo goes silent and says softly, but I feel a dagger in those words "Whatever....do what you want...it's getting late.... I need to go home" he gets up and heads to the door and leaves...

It takes me a second to process what happened and then i run after him "Leo wait no that's not what i meant...."

"Go away aera...it was my fault...i should have never barged into your house like that..."

"Leo...im giving you three seconds to get your butt back into my house"

"Or else what?"

"3...2...1..."

"AERA ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!"

I decided to use my powers and make him levitate

"I asked nicely...you didn't listen"

"Put me downnnn i swear ill come in"

"Ok"

I drop him, letting him fall from about 4 feet off the ground, and walk back inside.

"ACK!" he falls flat on his back and sends a quick glare my way before following me in.

I go sit on the couch and wait for him to do the same before i start talking again

"Leo...its not like im a 5-year-old who needs to be told whats right and wrong half the time. Im more than capable of protecting myself...or stopping fricking 20 year old boys from running away from me because i wanna do something they don't want me to."

Leo rolls his eyes as if he let everything I said go in one ear and out the other

"Ok fine...do you want me to prove that I can do reckless things and still walk away fine?"

"No." he deadpans

"Then what do you want me to do genius?!" I lost it. I've been staring at this guy for fifteen minutes and all he's doing is fiddling with his hands.

"Fine... do what you want. Im gonna be in the library if you need me. Don't chase after me if horus turns into a pterodactyl." i get up and go into the library and slump into the navy blue chair in the corner after grabbing the book from earlier and flip through the pages.

"Aera..." leo says softly

"I don't wanna talk" i mumble softly.

"I wasn't asking..." he simply drags a chair next to mine and sits down. "You're being rash....like....why do you wanna go after a vampire out of all the things in the world...and that one out of them all"

"Leo... WAIT WAIT WAIT...you said that the vampire was looking for his princess....didn't you"

"Yes so....OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?" he yells at me and face palms

"Do you think i might be?"

"No...even if you are i won't let you go to him"

'Leoooo but its a chance to stop all the killing and blah blahblah...like...imagine...im the lost princesssss..." I nag him, shaking him by the arms
