A Not So New Friend

Chapter 9

Recap: Ladybug and Chat noir defeated Mr. Pigeon. Marinette detransformed behind a tree and she got a call.

-Third POV-
Marinette quickly picked up the call "Hey Alys!"
"Girl, where are you??? The movie starts in 5 minutes!" Alya yelled from the other end of the phone.

'Shoot' Mari muttered under her breath "What was that?" Alya questioned "I'll be there soon!! Trust me!" With that Marinette ended the call

"Trust me??? Not even I can trust myself when it comes to this stuff!" Marinette told to herself. "Marinette maybe you should start heading towards the movie theater or we might miss the beginning again!" Tikki squeaked from the bluenette's purse.

"RIGHT!" Marinette screamed then she bolted towards the theater. In the past she would need to a bit longer to figure out where to turn or where she was because she would get lost. Now she could find anyplace. She had Paris Memorized. Every building, every street, every store, she also almost knew most of the people in Paris and their names!

(Why did I add that random info? I want the chapter to be longer. Plus it makes it sound more like a book rather than some person writing about a "kid show")

(That sounded way less sophisticated in my head)

-Alya POV-
I was waiting and waiting until i couldn't and plus the movie would start soon. I called Mari and after multiple calls she picked up. "Hey Alys!" Oh she forgot the movies was today, didn't she? "Girl, where are you??? The movie starts in 5 minutes!" As I said that I saw Nino running up to me.

Nino had also called Adrien since he didn't show up yet. I really hope he didn't have last minute modeling, it would kill Mari to know that. Nino quickly muttered under his breath something about the new guy joining us. As he did that Marinette also muttered under her breath. "What was that?" I said talking to the both of them.

"I'll be there soon!! Trust me!" Did i trust that girl? Nope. Was I giving her yet another chance to prove she can make it in time? Yep.

"Blaze asked if he could come to the movies with Adrien and he said yeah." Nino told me.
"Oh ok cool!" I replied. "What's your history with him and Mari?" "Oh it's a LONGGGGGGGGGGG story" Nino even spread him arms out to emphasize how long the story was.

"I guess you'll tell me another time, or I'll talk to... Marinette over here!" As I was talking Mari showed up, ON TIME! She even arrived before Adrien and Blake, or was it Blaze? I totally forgot.

-Third POV-
Marinette ran towards Alya and Nino. "Blaze is coming too!" Alya told Mari "Oh alright!" Mari responded.

Just then Adrien arrived in the Limo that Gorilla was driving with Blaze running beside it. "BLAZE ARE YOU OK?!??" Marinette asked as she ran to him. Suddenly she tripped over (Can you guess???) air. Luckily Adrien's fast reflexes he grabbed her arm yanked (not so she would be in pain) and pulled her to her feet and kindly pushed her towards the theater. Blaze quickly got to their side.

BOOOOOM!!!! Another chapter, Done! I am Proud of myself. I passed two tests this week and brought my grades up! (After my mom yelled at me for 1 hour and a half about my low grades and also grounding me)

Anyway i'm ungrounded now so we are good! I think that's all for now so, bye! Ya'll are great!!!!!!!!!
