"No, Maya, I need to talk about it. I-if I don't have a chance with you, can you please just tell me? I thought I'd be okay with it, but I'm not."

******** Hospital ********
After Maya collapsed on them, Scott, Stiles and Jackson rushed her to the hospital. Scott had been using Stiles' phone to dial their mom. Usually Maya played the nurse so Scott listening to his mom while applying pressure to her wounds and checking her pulse was highly stressful for the boy. Something he was not use too.
She met them outside the emergency room with a stream of nurses and doctors all to help Maya. They rushed her to a surgical room to give her stitches and check her wounds for any infections.
Melissa was about to go back there with her until Annie stopped her.
"We got it, Mel." The nurse assured her. "I promise. I got her."
Melissa nodded knowing she can't help operate on her daughter. She rubbed her hands in her face and fought back tears.
"Mom,"
Scott moved to her to hold her. At first the woman pulled away trying to be strong for her son. However when the boy wrapped his arms around her, she began sobbing. It took her a minute to pull herself together.
"I'm okay, I'm okay." She gulped and took a breath. "Umm, we need to call Noah."
"Stiles is already on it." Scott assured her.
"Okay, good, good." The woman nodded.
She was staring after her daughter where they wheeled her away. Scott moved his body in front of her and took her hands in his.
"She's going to be okay." He spoke with conviction.
"I know."
They all moved to the waiting area. It didn't take long for the Sheriff to show up. After all Maya was basically family. Like a second child. At first he was furious that Stiles disobeyed him. Again. That he didn't listen and stay at the hospital. That he did the exact opposite of what Mr. Stilinski wanted him to do.
But he couldn't stay mad for long. After hearing their story, he was just glad Maya was okay. Stiles told him that he and Jackson left to get Scott and searched the woods to find her. That she had a little running path she always took, so they wanted to check it to see if she somehow ended up there. With the discovery that Kate was the arsonist, they were worried Maya wouldn't be as prioritized. Sheriff Stilinski was appalled by that accusation, but he let the teenagers continue their story.
After they found her bloody and bruised, they didn't hesitate in taking her to the hospital where they had Melissa waiting with nurses and Doctors ready to help her.
Now Noah Stilinski is good at his job and while he could tell his son and his friends were lying about some stuff, he knew the parts that really mattered. They found Maya in the woods and she's okay.
It was a long night for everyone. The McCalls and Stilinski's stayed at the hospital until she was out of surgery. As if Melissa doesn't spend enough time there as it is. The only time anyone left was when Scott ran home to get clothes for him and his mom, and the Sheriff ran home to get clothes for him and Stiles. Melissa and Stiles, however, refused to leave her side. Even if it meant they would be stuck in dirty clothes for a while. Which is ultimately why the other two had to leave.
