"Hello everyone, this is your favorite girl Eugene Kim and welcome the Hallyu Wave Hour where we discuss the Korean community across the world. Today we have a special guest. He's a longtime guest with an incredible voice. Let's give a round of applause for John Park!!!" The former idol applauded. She had an incredible beauty beyond her years.

"It is a pleasure to be here sunbae. I have been waiting for a chance for perform live." John adjusted his tie. He was looking rather dashing in a red suit and tie.

"You look so classy today John! You resemble those entertainers from the Postwar era."

"That is the purpose, in all truth I am bit of an old soul. In Chicago we have all kinds of music from Jazz to Soul. I happen to be drawn by the voice of Nat King Cole and those like him."

"I hear you have one those unique voices from the old days. We wouldn't mind here sharing a few of their songs you grew up with. We at Hallyu Wave Hour is here to promote talent from overseas and teach our foreign audience Korean culture. Would like to share your voice?"

"With pleasure Eugene sunbae. Be amazed by the sound, I'll do my best to sing from the top of my lungs." John Park cleared his throat as he started to sing.

He started the show with a jazz fusion song followed by a swing styled song of Tom Jones. John Park showed that he had an aura of a singer from the Oldies Era. The ajummas in the crowd took pleasure on hearing a fine young man sing their favorite tunes from their youth. He really shined when he sung James Brown, a song filled with so much pain and suffering. The crowd began to cry by the sound of his voice. He then finished the last segment with another emotional heavy ballad from Nina Simone.

[Verse 1]
What goes up must come down
Spinnin' wheel got to go 'round
Talkin' 'bout your troubles it's a cryin' sin
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel spin

[Verse 2]
You got no money and you got no home
Spinnin' wheel all alone
Talkin' 'bout your troubles and you never learn
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel turn

[Bridge]
Did you find the directing sign on the
Straight and narrow highway
Would you mind a reflecting sign
Just let it shine within your mind
And show you the colors that are real

[Verse 3]
Someone is waiting just for you
Spinnin' wheel, spinnin' true
Drop all your troubles by the riverside
Catch a painted pony on the spinning wheel ride

[Instrumental]

[Verse 4]
Someone is waiting just for you
Spinnin' wheel, spinnin' true
Drop all your troubles by the riverside
Ride a painted pony let the spinning wheel fly

It's not unusual to be loved by anyone
It's not unusual to have fun with anyone
But when I see you hanging about with anyone
It's not unusual to see me cry
I wanna die
It's not unusual to go out at any time
But when I see you out and about it's such a crime
If you should ever wanna be loved by anyone
It's not unusual
It happens every day
No matter what you say
You'll find it happens all the time
Love will never do what you want it to
Why can't this crazy love be mine?
It's not unusual to be mad with anyone
It's not unusual to be sad with anyone
But if I ever find that you've changed at any time
It's not unusual to find out I'm in love with you
Whoa-whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh
Whoa-whoa, oh-ohh
Whoa-whoa, oh-oh-oh-oh, whoa
Whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa

This is a man's world, this is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl
You see, man made the cars to take us over the road
Man made the train to carry the heavy load
Man made electric light to take us out of the dark
Man made the boat for the water, like Noah made the ark
This is a man's, man's, man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl
Man thinks about our little bitty baby girls and our baby boys
Man made them happy, 'cause man made them toys
And after man make everything, everything he can
You know that man makes money, to buy from other man
This is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, not one little thing, without a woman or a girl
He's lost in the wilderness
He's lost in bitterness, he's lost lost

Birds flying high, you know how I feel
Sun in the sky, you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by, you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life for me, yeah
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life for me, ooh
And I'm feeling good
Fish in the sea, you know how I feel
River running free, you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree, you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life for me
And I'm feeling good
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know?
Butterflies all havin' fun, you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done, that's what I mean
And this old world, is a new world
And a bold world for me, yeah-yeah
Stars when you shine, you know how I feel
Scent of the pine, you know how I feel
Oh, freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life for me
I'm feeling good
