Hoya was hailed as Infinite's chief dancer. He was the man who lead the group's choreography. He may not have the vocal chops but he could back up his talent with his energetic dance moves. He thought he could settle being Infinite's main dancer but he felt something tell him he should focus on his own choice. Once the contracts began Hoya was the only one who decided not to renew.
It was tough the first few months. He found his entire schedule completely overhaul. He decided instead to focus on acting gigs and small encore sessions. But now almost a year later Hoya was ready to make his formal debut.
