           the brunette awakened, just to see a black haired boy right in front of her, " you've woken up! " he said said, " I guess I have " lila said, " im luke, luke castellan! " the boy introduced himself, " lila everhart " lila said, " ill be back " luke said. lila stood up and walked towards the mirror to see her head, arm and leg were all healed

Grover walked in, wearing an orange shirt that said. CAMP HALF-BLOOD " Lila! " he hugged the girl, " Grover! ", he then showed the girl a tall drink, " I drink it? " Lila asked, " duh " Grover replied, " you guys saved my life " Grover smiled, " oh, and Percy's up already "

Percy then walked in with the minotaur horn, " look " percy said, " it wasn't a dream? " lila asked, " no " percy looked sad, lila took a sip of the tall drink Grover had given, surprising she liked it, it tasted like her grandmas home made lemonade, she took another sip, then another, then another she loved the taste and it filled her with energy

she was about to take another sip until grover took the glass, " I don't think you should risk drinking any more of that stuff " Grover told her as she nodded, " I drank the whole thing! " percy said making lila laugh a bit, Grover stood up, " Come on. Chiron and Mr. D are waiting. ". Grover started walking towards the door and the two looked at each other and shrugged.

                  the three walked through the camp seeing every other kid in the same bright orange shirt, doing many different activities, when they got there, their was two men, and a black haired girl, " That's Mr. D, he's the camp directo. Be polite. The girl, that's Annabeth Chase she's just a camper, but she's been here longer than about anybody. And you already know Chiron " Grover explained

" Did I miss something? " lila asked looking at chiron, " Mr. Drunner! " the girl then said, " it's Mr. Brunner! " Percy and Grover corrected, " Nah, I think it's Mr. Runner! " Lila said, " Ah, good, Lila, percy. Now we have six for pinochle " the two sat down at the table

" Oh, I suppose I must say it. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. There. Now don't expect me to be glad to see you " Mr. D said, "  Thanks? " Percy said. As he moved his chair farther from him and closer to lila, " Annabeth? " Mr. Brunner called, " This young lady nursed you two back to health, Annabeth. My don't why don't you go check on their bunk? We'll be putting them in Cabin eleven for now. "

" Sure, Chiron " the girl was around their age, lila was about two inches taller than the girl, while percy was about three or four inches taller. she was very athletic looking, she was also one of the prettiest girls lila had ever seen with her dark skin and her braids

the girl looked at the blonde boy, and percy was expecting her to compliment him on the minotaur horn but instead she said, " you drool when you sleep. " then left. Percy's face was left completely shocked while lila was holding back her laughter, " So, " percy said " You work here, Mr. Brunner "

" It's Mr Lrunner! " Lila said, then looked at chiron, "" That name was a pseudonym, you may call me Chiron " Chiron explained, " Okay, and Mr. D...does that stand for anything? " he asked, while lila was confused trying to figure out whatever " pseudonym " was

" Young man, names are a powerful things. You don't just go around using them for no reason " Mr. D said. " Oh. Right. Sorry " Percy said. " I must say, im glad to see you two alive. It's been a long time since I've made a house calls to potential campers. I'd hate to think I wasted my time "

" House calls? " The two so called, demi gods asked. Chiron then explained about Grover finding them and sensing they were special, and him joining the school, and protecters

" Grover are you playing or not? " Mr. D asked. " Yes sir! " Grover replied, " do you know how to play pinochle? " Mr. D asked the two, " im afraid not, " percy said, " im afraid not, sir " mr. d corrected, " sir " percy repeated. " you? " he looked at lila, " I'll learn, sir "

mr d then explained how to play the game, and some other stuff but lila was zoned out remembering what happened the day before, " Young woman, are you bidding or not? " Mr. D asked, " Yeah! " lila said, the girl zoned out again until " if you were a god, how would you like being called a myth? an old story to explain lightning? what if I told you, perseus jackson, that some day people would call you a myth, just created to explain how little boys can get over losing their mothers "

lilas jaw dropped at this, " I wouldn't like it. but I don't believe in gods. " percy said, " oh, you better. before one of them incinerates you " mr. d said, " p-please sir, he's just lost his mothers. he's in shock! " Grover said. Mr. D than started complaining about his job and teleported red wine. " Your Dionysus! " lila said, " atleast you teached one good " Mr. D said

" You're a god? "
" Yes, child "
" A god, you? "

they made eye contact before Percy jumped a little bit, Mr. D finally stopped and lila whispered, " you ok? " she asked her best friend, " mhm " percy said, " im fine " he smiled at the brunette and she gave a little smile back

" im tired. I believe I'll take a nap before the sing-along tonight but first Grover, we need to talk again, about your less-than-perfect performance on this assignment, grovers face fulled with sweat, " y-yes sir "

" cabin eleven both of you, and percy jackson mind your manners " both Grover and mr. D walked away. " will Grover be okay? " lila asked, and chiron nodded, " old Dionysus isn't really mad. He just hates his job, he's been...ah grounded I guess you can say, and he can't stand waiting another century before he's allowed to go back to Olympus "

" Mount Olympus? Woah " Lila said, " your telling me there's really is a palace there? " percy added, chiron then explained more, " You mean the Greek gods are here? like....in America? " Lila asked, " Well, certainly the gods move with the heart of the west " Chiron said

" The what? " Percy asked, chiron then explained what the heart of the west was and why they live there, " Who are you, Chiron? " Percy asked, " Who are we? " Lila added

Chiron smiled, " who are you well, that's the question we all want answered, isn't it? But for now, we should get you a bunk in cabin eleven, there will be other campers and plenty of time for lessons tomorrow. Besides there will be s'mores at the campfire tonight and I simply adore chocolate " Mr Chiron said

he rose from his chair leaving the two blondes shocked, as their old Latin teacher was half horse, " that's why he had a wheel chair! " lila said making percy laugh at the girl a bit

" now come on, percy jackson and lila everhart, let's meet the other campers! "

" why did I sign up for this?— wait and when did I sign up for this? " lila asked
