Five: The Difference

Sitting in her kitchen, Angel heard her mom reading about Lucas and Nathan being Dan's son. "Oh no." Angel replies as Alec looked at her. "Mom, I'll be back."

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Lucas doesn't claim Dan because of how he did Karen and how he treats him. Dan doesn't care for Lucas so Lucas is going to be difficult about this." She tells her as she grabbed her keys and kissed her cheek. "If dad calls tell him I love him and I will see him in a bit."

"Okay. Be careful and I love you."

"Love you too."

Arriving at the Scotts, Karen smiled. "You can help me with him." She tells her. "He wants to change his last name, maybe you can talk to him because us talking didn't help him much."

"Maybe reconsider what he said because you are his mother and he did express his feelings to you. Think about whatever he said and I'll have him listen to me."

Karen nodded as she walked out the door to get to work. She shook her head as she knew her son would listen to Angel, but lately she has noticed that Angel has discovered a way to get Lucas to listen.

"What is this about you wanting to change your name?" She asked him as she shut his door and locked it.

"Dan is not my father."

"Well, Keith is." She tells him. "Lucas, don't let what they say in the paper get to you. You expressed your feelings to your mom twice."

"I know, baby, but he is not my dad...."

Angel kissed him causing him to hold her. She looked at him. "Well, let's see, if we last long, which I think we will, I would love to marry you. Angel Scott."

Lucas looked at her. "I love the name." He says taking her shirt off. "Maybe, I shouldn't change my name."

"Maybe you shouldn't." She says kissing him as she had him lay back. "I would love to see where this relationship goes." She stood up to pull her skirt off along with her panties. "I would hope one day we start a family..."

"Baby." He moaned as she crawled back on top of him.

"I want to love you for the rest of our lives." He closed his eyes. "I love you, Lucas Eugene Scott."

He moaned as she centered him and slid down on him. "Shit, baby."

"Mmm." She moaned. "Well, Mr.Scott, are you going to change your last name?"

"No." He moaned as she started moving. "As long as you're carrying my name, I'll stay a Scott."

She smiled as she kissed him. Moaning together, Angel knew she won. Lucas flipped them over causing her to laugh as he kissed her. This woman was his everything and he was going to marry her one of these days.

Seeing Angel, Karen walked over to her. "Thank you for changing his mind."

"I know my ways."

"Keep it going to." She tells her as Angel put her apron on. "He always managed to listen to you and I'm so happy that you are the one for him."

"Lucas has to understand that there is a difference between him and Dan. He isn't an ass. I know he won't cheat because just the way he is..."

"I only love you." They heard and look to see Lucas. "It was always you and that's the way it will always be."

She smiled as she kissed him. "See you tonight."

"See you tonight, baby."

Karen smiled as she watched Lucas go help Keith. She looked at Angel cleaning and smiled. Thank you, God. For Angel Nightgale.
