One: Heat of the Moment

From the moment Lucas Scott and Angel Nightgale became friends, as the years went by, he started falling in love with her just like she has with him, but neither of them would confess. Yet, Alec has a plan along with Haley. They were going to get Angel and Lucas to see that they both love each other, but how.

"So, we have a movie night planned out for us." Angel says.

Lucas smiled as he walked beside her. "Yeah, but have you found one that we both can watch."

"I was planning for the two of us to go to the movie store and we pick one out together."

At school the next day, Lucas looked at Angel as she looked at him. She smiled as she went back to studying. They never knew that Coach was walking in. "Scott and Nightgale."

Lucas looked at Alec who shrugged as they followed Coach. Kissing the top of her head, Angel watched them leave causing Brooke to walk over to her and sit down. "I've been watching you. You have great spirit, you can dance, and you have your very own player if that is what it's about."

"You joining the cheer team."

Angel looked at her horrified as Haley covered her mouth. She knew Lucas would be wanting her to if he joined the team. She would have to talk to him without her brother, but knowing Alec, he will be wanting to speak to her.

"I would leave. Now!" She tells him as he walked away. "Oh, Nathan." He looked at them. "You don't know Lucas for one and two, you don't know me. Therefore, you back the hell off before something else happens that will make you regret everything."

Nathan watched the young Nightgale go back to Lucas and saw whatever everyone has been seeing since the two grew up. Love. He got in his car and left causing Alec to look at them. "Nice punch."

"He can't act like he owns me because he doesn't. No one doesn't." She tells him as she kissed Lucas's cheek. "Ignore him and play."

Alec watched Lucas go back to playing as he looked at her. "Tell him."

"I can't because my feelings are one sided." She tells him. "Just like yours is for Peyton."

Alec went back to playing as Angel sat down. Lucas looked at the one girl he ever loved and wondered when things between them can change because he loves her and Alec told him the other day that she likes him too.

Lucas saw Angel standing with Haley as he waited for Nathan, Nathan's teammates and Alec. They were having this game tonight. "Angel." She looked at Peyton. "Thank Alec for helping me earlier today." She tells her. "My car broke down and he came to my rescue."

"I will if I see him." She tells her.

"Are you going to see what happens between you and Lucas?"

Haley started laughing causing Angel to say one thing. "Why is everyone saying that? He is my best friend."

"You are very blind." Haley tells her. "I've seen it the moment you two started hanging out." Angel gave her a look. "I think Peyton is on to something, Angel. Maybe kiss him when he comes by your house to see what happens."

Looking back at the game, she started cheering for her brother and Lucas causing Lucas to shoot the winning shot. He looked at Angel and knew he was going to see if something really changes between them because he wanted her and he wants her so bad. Walking over to her, he picked her up as everyone cheered. Alec shook his head as he spoke to Peyton.

"That was some game." She says as they walked up to her house.

"It was fun and I'm on the team as well as Alec."

Angel bit her lip as she made the one move she probably would regret. Kissing Lucas Scott.
