Nine: Alec Picks Brooke

One morning, Angel was very confused why her friend was there at their house. Alec told her late in the night about what happened to Peyton, but he loved how generous Brooke was. With that being said, he picked Brooke, she thinks. She will ask or Lucas will. "Good morning, sister."

"What happened last night?" She asked. "You didn't come home and Lucas stayed the night as I couldn't figure out where the hell you were."

"I was at Brooke's house." He tells her. "I realized that Peyton is not the person for me. It's Brooke. I'm picking her and I will tell her that at school. She's not like I thought she was and seeing how she was with Peyton, maybe picking Brooke is the right choice."

Angel smiled. "I'm glad you picked her because Peyton has told you that she only wanted to have sex with you." She tells him. "Stay with Brooke."

Alec watched his sister go back to her room as he knew today was going to be him seeing if Brooke is going to prove to him that she is the one that should be by his side. Walking out of the house, Alec stopped. "I know you two are about to have sex, but you may want may want to wait till after school!"

"Shut up!"

Alec laughed as he walked out. He knew today is the day he will be with Brooke and may give in to her as she has been non stop flirting. Something that he liked.

Later that day, Angel noticed that Lucas has been talking to Alec about something. Something that didn't make sense to her. He has been acting weird about something and she knows it has something to do with her. She walked over to them. "Dude, you know Angel. You knew her from childhood. You can ask her one day, but make it very special. You know everything about her and if you do that, make it at one of those spots you know that will become her favorite spot."

Lucas nodded as he has to think of a place. He wants to marry Angel as he loves her. He always has and now that he has her. He just want their forever and start a family. "Lucas?"

Turning around, there stood the woman he loves. "Hey, baby." He says. "What's wrong?"

"You've been acting strange lately." She tells him. "Did I do something wrong?"

Lucas realized what he has been doing. "No, baby. You could never do anything wrong." He tells her. "Just there is something I'm planning and Alec was helping me." She nodded. "He told me he chose Brooke."

"I hope it's only her as the girl will be perfect for him. He doesn't need someone who will just hurt him again." She tells him. "Now, let's get today over with and go to your house to have some fun."

Lucas laughed as he kissed her head. With his mom being gone, Deb taking over to help his mom while out for school, and Keith being there, all he just wants at home is Angel. They walked off to class not knowing that Peyton heard about Alec and Brooke. She wasn't happy about it as she wanted Alec.

That night, Lucas and Angel cuddled up on his couch watching a movie as they just wanted to alone. Keith walked in and saw them watching tv. Meaning, he will leave them be. "Oh, did you call Karen?"

"I did." Lucas tells her. "She wants to thank you for doing what you are doing for the shop. Maybe you can come up with more ideas later.' She smiled. "I love you."

"I love you." She says kissing him.

Lucas stood up and carried her to his room without breaking the kiss. Keith shook his head as he turned the tv up so he wouldn't hear them. Seeing the popcorn, he sat down and finished the rest. Thinking about Karen coming home.
