Last Summer

Chapter 2

              I wake up to the sound of Hayes voice saying:

"I told you it would be okay" He said with a smirk.

I smile back at him and look into his deep blue eyes. Then suddenly the door swings open and Nash walks in.

"Come down stairs for breakfast." He says.

"Alright we will be down in a minute." Hayes said.

Then Nash walk out of the room and closes the door behind him.  I get out of Hayes bed and stand up. Tbh it feels weird sleeping in the same bed with Hayes cause we don't date. Though I don't mention that to him.

"I wonder what's for breakfast?" Says Hayes.

He walks down the stairs and into the kitchen and I follow. Breakfast was already at the table and so were Skylynn, Nash, and Elizabeth. So me and Hayes sit down.

"How did you guys sleep last night I know there was a storm and the power shut down." Said Elizabeth (Hayes mom)

"Oh it was fine I had my best friend with me so It wasn't too bad." I say as I look over at Hayes.

Then Elizabeth looks at us and smiles.

"Can you play horses again with me today?" Skylynn says to me.

Hayes buts in and says:

"Well I was planning on Taking Addison out today so we could hangout."

That made me smile. We finish up eating and Hayes and I go up to his room.

"Can we run over to my house so I can get ready before we go?" I ask.

"Sure anything for you princess."

I blush harder than I ever have before and giggle a little. He's always called me princess, For as long as I can remember. I walkover past him to get my shoes and he playfully pushes me and I lose my balance and fall on his bed. Smiling I get up slide on my flip flops and say.

"You think your gonna get away with that huh?!" I say

Then he runs down the stairs as I chase him. We run out of the house and I chase him all the way down the street to my house. We walk in and go to my room. Then Hayes notices my journal laying on my desk.

"What's this?" He ask.

"That's my journal." I say as I take it from him and lay it back down on the desk.

Then I take a pink crop top and some high wasted jean shorts and go to the bathroom. As Hayes walks in the living room I can here him talking to my mom about going to hangout with him today. After I finish up getting ready I grab my phone and walk into the living room and say:

"Ready."

Then Hayes gets up from the couch and looks at me then he says:

"Wow. You look pretty, Princess."

"Thanks." I say while smiling.

We head for the door after I say:

"Ill be back later, love you mom."

After we leave we start walking I ask:

"So... Where are we going?"

"Well its kind of a surprise." He says.
