                                                                              *Hayes P.O.V.*

I don't tell her where we are going. We just walk. Every so often I look over at her. As we walked in silence, so many thoughts run though my head. Thoughts like:

"Wow Addison looks so pretty today." And stuff like:

"No dude, She's your best friend what are you saying she doesn't think about you like that."

But I couldn't help it. Addison was the only one who gets me. I can talk to her about anything. She's always here for me. God; What am I saying?

Soon we reach the boardwalk.

"Are you gonna tell me what were doing here?" She says.

"Well I was thinking we could get ice cream and just sit and talk. We haven't seen each other since last summer and we have a lot of catching up on."

"Sounds fun!" She says with a smile.

I love it when she smiles. It brightens my day. She's so perfect.

We walk up to the ice cream stand and order.

"Can I have two vanilla cones?" I say to the man.

I know that vanilla is her favorite. I pay and we take our Ice cream and sit on a picnic table close to the beach. Its almost sunset so the sky looks pretty. But not as pretty as Addison does. I want to tell her that but, I chose not to.

"So?" She's says.

"Well do you have any new crushes lately?" I ask her nervously.

"Um... There is this one guy."

"Really? Tell me about him." I look down so she couldn't see the disappointment in my face.

"He's kinda tall brown hair, blue eyes. Nice, caring, He's great." She says.

"He sounds like a good guy." I say back to her sounding kinda sad.

"The thing is he doesn't know. I'm afraid to tell him cause we are really close. What should I do?" She said.

"Well I would tell him eventually, And if he says no then he's a jerk who doesn't deserve you. " I say as I look into her hazel eyes.

We stared at each other for a long time. Then I say:

"Well we should head back its getting dark and I don't want your mom to get worried."

She playfully punches me on the arm and says:

"Beat ya there!"

We run to her house and I wave bye and I go to my house. Just in time for dinner. As I eat again thoughts run through my head.

"Gosh, now what am I going to do stupid Hayes... You fell for her."

Diary, Last night Hayes and I hung out. He surprised me with a place. I had no clue where though, until we walked up on the boardwalk. He was so sweet he bought us ice-cream, and it was my favorite flavor, vanilla!

Hayes brought up the topic of "CRUSHES".

Would that be a good time to tell him I like him?

Or should I wait?

Geese this is so confusing. I never knew girls or any person can hold so much emotions. I wish I had the guts to tell him. But if I did and he didn't feel the same, then what would happen? Who knows till it happens.

I wonder what he's thinking about, what if I actually have a chance?
