Chapter 25: Bad cop

Three years later
"What is going on?"
Y/N crosses her arms madly as she questions the three toddlers who have paint all over their shirts. 

Y/N is not exactly gentle parenting type of person but her four wives are. On top of that, she didn't have an emotional connections with her kids until this year. She could feel that responsibility of being a mother and she has started to learn how to love her kids. It's not that she is a cold-blooded person but she has post-pantrum after giving birth to her three children. 

Thankfully, she has four very understanding wives and they allow her to take as much time she needs to adapt to her new identity as a mother. However, they do have very different way of communicating to their children. Her four wives are patient. Well, afterall, they have her as their wife. Anyway, the point is that although Y/N doesn't hit their children but she is very strict to them when they do something wrong. 

For example, right now. 

"Chu did it,"
Nini and Lili blames their brother without thinking twice. 

"But the paint is all over the three of you,"
Nini and Lili always throw their brother under the bus whenever thing like these happen and Y/N know for sure both of them are the one started it. Chu is just there to play with his sisters most of the time.

"Bathroom now,"
Three of them get up from the ground and quickly moves their way to the bathroom before their mommy gets madder. 

Usually, Y/N doesn't really have to do anything for the three kids because she has four wives to do everything for them. However, they are all busy with something today so Y/N is forced to look after them alone. She would love to call her mom over to help out but she is sick today. 

"I will shower you one by one, don't splash the water on me while I am trying to clean you up. I am not your four other mommies,"
That's right. It's as if they are kids too, they always get playful whenever they are together with the kids.

"Okay,"
They reply in unison.

They are aware that Y/N is different from other mommies. Y/N is more stern with them and she never shows them her playful side. They are afraid of her at a normal level, not super afraid because Y/N never actually abuses them. It is just that they are never scared of their other mommies, they never scold them. It could be a pro and con because Y/N know for sure that their three kids are closer to her wives comparing to her. The good thing is that at least there are still at least one adult in the household. 

"When is Jen Jen mommy back? She promises us to read us bedtime story tonight,"

"She should be home anytime soon,"

"How about Rosie mommy? She says she will teach us how to play with shadow tonight,"

"She should be back by tonight,"

"How about Lisa mommy? She says she will buy new pajamas for us,"

"She says that?"

"And Soo Soo mommy says she will sleep with us tonight,"

"I will ask her when is she coming back,"

"What do you mean by not able to come back tonight? All of you promise the three kids with something tonight, how am I supposed to do all that by myself?"
Y/N whispers yelled. 

"I know it is frustrating but you too want our babies' birthday party tomorrow to look good right?"

"Why does it take four of you all day to do it?"

"We have changed some of the details last minute so it is quite difficult for us to finish it by today,"

"I told you to leave it up to the professional and all of you insist to plan the party yourself. Now I am stuck with three talkative kids with no peace tonight. You know how they are, they always talk non stop,"

"I don't think they will continue to talk if you warn them. They are scared of you, Y/N,"

"Don't make it sound like I am a bad cop,"
Y/N rolls her eyes.

"Good that you are aware. Anyway, we will most likely be back in the morning, tell them we love them before they go to sleep,"
Without givng Y/N any chance to rant further more, they hang up the phone almost immediately.

"Avery, I am so sorry this is so out of the blue but I have no one else to ask for. Can you kindly help me buy three sets of pajamas for my kids? 

"Sure thing. By the way, have you signed the contract to the new movie yet? Hani is asking me about it and she needs it ASAP because the director of the movie is apparently an impatient asshole,"

"Tell Hani I am not taking this movie. The director has been involved in a scandal recently. I don't want to put my reputation at risk,"

"I will talk to Hani about it but I don't think the director will be happy hearing this, you are basically his only chance to revive his career after that cheating scandal,"

"Well, the problem is not on me if he chooses to fuck around and get himself into trouble. Why is he expecting me to save his career when he fucks it up himself?"

"Alright, I will see what we can do,"

"Mommy, why are they not back yet? It's our sleeping time,"
Lili asks while pouting, obviously not quite thrilled with the fact that her other mommies are not here with them tonight.

"They have something else to do,"
Y/N is about to switch off the light for them to sleep but she notices that her three kids are looking very disappointed right now. She really wants to walk off but her conscience doesn't allow her to do so. 

"Fine. I will read you bedtime story today,"

"With shadow?"

"No, I am not going to-"

Then they purr their lips, making a sad puppy face.

"Fine, but go to sleep after that,"

"Once upon a time..."

"The end,"

"Can you sleep with us tonight, mommy?"

"You guys are big enough to sleep by yourselves,"

"But you never sleep with us before. It's always the other mommies..."

"Alright, fine. But you can't talk to each other, only sleeping,"

"Okay!"
They reply excitedly and snuggle closer to Y/N in no time. 

...

"Mommies say they love you,"

"Which mommy?"

"All,"

"You too?"

"...yes,"
