[Prologue - Skating on the Edge]

It was a Normal day I was just spending my  day chilling at the skatepark with my friends, Alex, Cindy, and Peter.

Usually all of us hung around here when our parents started getting annoyed at us about not going out, that's how we first met.

The day i first met them was quite awkward to say the least, I had actually fell directly onto Alex after falling off of a ramp..infront of Cindy and a few more people I'm shocked Alex's arm didn't break, I heard that shit make a crack noise. We all started getting along after that day. We didn't meet Peter until later along in time.

Usually there was more of us but it isn't the most pleasant day, with the rain and all the mud.

'God Zander why did you drag me out here today...it's such bad weather, we are all gonna get a cold..!' Cindy exclaimed.

It wasn't unusual for Cindy to complain at me, when I make her come out in these kind of conditions, like one time a few months back when I dragged her along to go to some outdoor trampoline park while it was raining and she slipped and sprained her wrist..it was kinda scary in the moment and she was extremely mad at me,  now it's just something to laugh about.

'Cindy you are so dramatic~' Peter teased her with a grin.

Peter was always teasing Cindy, especially since they started dating a while back, Peter had liked her since the summer of our second year in high school, we are now in our fourth year. They started dating after Peter got drunk with a few of his classmates and sent her drunken embarrassing love confessions. Somehow Cindy thought it was cute or something..I don't even know. Peter is usually a more quiet guy until you get to know him so alot of his friends were surprised he actually pulled a girl. Peter and I became friends through Cindy and mes friendship.

'Ahhh shit-' Peter shouted before he slipped of his skateboard right off the ledge of the ramp he was on.

'Well done Peter!' I shouted before we all began laughing.

'Ugh this is the man you're dating Cindy, seriously?' I jokingly ask her.

'Let's see you get bitches before making fun of him' Cindy bites back at me.

'Honestly I'll just admit defeat' I say before going to help Peter up.

'Here, get up.' I put my hand out signaling Peter to grab my hand.

'Yeah thanks Zander.' He says, his face slightly pink.

'Peter are you still gonna be taking me to McDonald's later?' Cindy asks Peter, peters gaze leaves my view.

'Uh yeah but only if I'm actually getting paid today' Peter tells her.

Peter has had a job at JD sports for a while, part time as we all still have school of course. His pay is decent I suppose being around £9 and hour.

'If we do go I want a wrap' she tells him.

'Yeah get whatever you want.' He tells her.

'Oooohh McDonald's, can we come?' I ask them both while pointing to both Alex and I.
