YOU didn't have time to dwell on your actions. You bit your lip in frustration as you push the guy off of you. You didn't even calculate the outcome of every hit. Why?
Even if they looked like it, they weren't humans. They were curses. But why did it feel like you murdered an actual person?
You needed to be more careful. You don't want things to end up like last time.

You got up to your feet and immediately looked for the citizen you saved. You saw them scurrying sound, awakening people of the hypotonic state and guiding them to the exit. Your teeth grit when you saw an employees run up behind them, and smashed the vitrine next to you.
The employees, or the curse itself, must be connected to the vitrines. If not, then they wouldn't have screamed in agony and physically flinched. But, there are so many. What if all the jewels were fakes and there was something else?
Or were they real, and you needed to destroy them all?
