Lily Pov

"Graduation certificate nr 934, graduated with honors and the gold medal with outstanding results and 100% on all exams. "

I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes.

"Lily Davis!"

I stood up and made my way to the stage. As I shook hands with the school principal we made eye contact for a moment. He smiled at me and said:

"Well done, Lily. I'm proud of you. I'm sure everyone is proud of you, you are the lucky girl after all. You've come a long way and you made it. And you are young. You managed to do it quicker than normal and that is something you should be proud of. I hope that you will succeed in everything you do and that you're happy. Thats the most important - to be happy. Do what your heart tells you and take off like a butterfly. Explore and enjoy the life and then find your own flowers to settle with. Don't let anybody or anything take away your happiness. Not even yourself. Happiness is important. Don't forget that."

I had tears in my eyes and so did he. I nodded.

And at that moment I smiled. I kept smiling as I got my certificate  and the medal and left the stage. I kept smiling as  the ceremony went on. I kept smiling as I looked over to my mom. She was wiping her tears, but smiling too. I kept smiling as they started announcing the best student companies of the year.

"And the best student company of the year is....."

"LaLily!"

And I smiled as I held my firm partners hand as we walked back on the stage. 

We stood there holding each others hands as a short introduction video of our company was played. As they showed the stats that we had put together gasps were heard from the audience. Usually student companies don't make this much.

"And here are the two ladies behind this companys success. Two honors students. The CEO and head designer Lily Davis and the marketing director and designer Emilia White."

After our short speech we were presented with the award and 10 000 to support our company if we decide to continue with it, which they recommended we definitely do.

We sat back down and waited for the graduation ceremony to end.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Emilia asked.

"Do you want to keep going?" I asked her

a moment of silence

"I do. You?" she answered

"I do too." I answered looking into her eyes.

"So we keep the company going?" she asked to be sure

I smiled. "We keep going."

Suddenly she yelled:

"YESSSSSS!"

She hugged me, and I hugged her back.

As we were eating the cake after the ceremony we discussed our plans for future. We have to stay together to be able to work with our company. She will study marketing and I will go on with my plans of studying business and fashion, design. We only have to choose the right university so that we aren't far from each other.

The principal approached us after a while. He is and older man with grey hair and kind, calm grey eyes. He was wearing a black suit and a light pink tie. To look younger, he said.
