I can feel Sam's gaze as we walk to the elevator and go out of the hospital. I glance at Sam then look out and notice a car, one I could have sworn was outside the cafe. But then I see Bucky walking to us and Agent Carter walking away. I feel a tinge of something but ignore it as Bucky gets closer, I compose myself.

"You should still be in there, you need-" he stops mid-sentence, realizing that everything was healed.

"Nevermind. We need to get you back to headquarters. Bruce will be able to help us." Bucky looked at Sam and Sam nodded.

I sigh and follow them to Sam's truck and off we go. When we get there Sam excuses himself and walks in a different direction than us. I follow Bucky and we enter what I could only describe as a mad scientist's room. But I am taken aback by the giant green man in the corner who turns around and his voice swallows the room's atmosphere.

"There you guys are! I was wondering when you guys would be able to get here. But why did they discharge her?" The big green man gestures to me asking Bucky

"They didn't, she requested the paperwork. Did you receive the paperwork on the accident and what she looked like when she got to the hospital?" Bucky asks him

"Yeah I did but what does that have to do with her discharge?" He asks, Bucky simply motions to me and I look at him blankly.

"I'm Bruce Banner, by the way." He looks at me quizzically then it's almost as if you could see the light bulb above his head, "How did you heal so fast?"

"I, uh, it's complicated...." I look to Bruce and then to Bucky, he nods his head with reassurance.

It was then I knew he remembered, he remembered the torture and the things he saw me go through. The Hell we both suffered. I turned to Bruce, taking the viles out of my jacket pocket and hand them to him.

"I was an experiment, they did things to me that make Buckys seem like a simple procedure. I have to take that to suppress whatever it is that they put in me." I explain simply to Bruce

Bruce looks between Bucky and me, then at the viles. The viles glow an orange amber making Bruce look at me.
"When did you use this last?"
"Right before we left the hospital. If I didn't, I would have not been able to leave at all."
         "How long does it last?"
"A day if I use too much energy. But usually 2-3 days."
"Elyse, I need to know what they did to you... Can we draw your blood? This can help you and we can find a better way-"
I interrupt him, "Why? This is doing all I need." I back away towards the door we came in, "Why do I have to find that out?"

I look between them and between Bruces' concerned look and Bucky's concern mixed with an emotion I only had seen back then, I wanted to run. I didn't want to be here.

"I won't tell you anything. I will keep it in a file sealed until you want to know. I promise. But I can make something that can help you control whatever it is. Something that won't do whatever this does to your body." Bruce says in a fatherly voice, trying his best to calm my nerves but I can already feel it starting.

I feel the heat. I look to Bucky, seeing the sadness and concern start to swirl in his eyes then look again to Bruce and his expression has changed. I see the shock and worry, things that confirm that my eyes have changed.
"Don't run, this is what I mean. I can help you control this. Please." Bruce tried to convince me. I think for a beat, then I nod. I need someone to help me. I need to trust them, because if he could trust them, if they could help him change what drowned his soul, then I can trust they can change my fears. Bruce relaxed and Bucky did too, I walked to a table and Bruce began the testing.
