me, nick and andrew are walking down the street and Andrew starts a conversation "so what's the deal with you and Jessi? have you seen her since you know, the kiss?" "yeah i mean i sent her a text that said 'hey' and she sent me a video of a dog dressed like a fisherman" " oh my God, I guess she likes you?" andrew says, "i think so i mean the dog had a hat and a raincoat, tiny fishing pole" "no i've seen it" "it's like fun and playful but also" "you don't send it lightly" "im still figuring out what i want to send back."

today we were having a field trip and i was so excited, matthew was talking to nick and andrew about love and girlfriends. jessi comes over to nick and they're all awkward. everyone puts pressure on them and asking if they're a couple, jessi says maybe and nick says yes. so.. my brothers got a girlfriend before i get a boyfriend. nick and jessi leave andrew because they're a couple and they sit at the back of the bus, i want to sit next to jay but he's sat with some random lesbian. so i'm just sat on my own, Andrew goes over to missy and some other girl gets there before him so he has to sit with coach steve so im just sat alone until that little girl next to jay moves so i sit next to him, "jay, you excited?" i say starting a convo "sorta, wanna see a magic trick?" i roll my eyes and pick a card. jay pulls a card out and to annoy him i say it's the wrong card, "why won't you go out with me!?" he yells and throws the card, "excuse me?" i say "nothing i just yell random shit when my trick doesn't go right" i awkwardly laugh at him "oh.. right"

we arrive at the statue of liberty and nick and jessi follow the devon's up the statue. i chose to stay with jay and andrew talks to us, jays saying he's gonna replicate the statue to move, suddenly cops pull jay with a bag over his head and i yell his name but i assume it's part of his trick.

i was sat in the bathroom and jessi comes in saying she got her period. "jessi you okay?" i say and we both call andrew in. "but you guys, i got my period" andrew throws up and apologies for it. "does it hurt" "it doesn't feel good" she sends andrew to get products while im sat in a stall thinking of jay, what happened? is he okay? why did i get jealous at the dance? why did i get upset on the bus? i don't get it. do i like him or not? andrew comes back and gives her a towel, when we all walk out they both hug for ages before letting go. "stays between us three" he says.

we were sat at a table and jessi had yelled about her period "you guys you guys!" jay walks up to us "my fucking god jay are you alright?" without even thinking i hug him and let go "i just had the best day ever" he laughs "hey jessi, what's this behind your ear?" "not now jay i am not in the mood." "oh what are you on your period,?" then jessi hits jay in the throat and i get all defensive as jay chokes on the ground, "what the fuck" i say as i slap jays back and stand him up giving him another hug as nick looks at me and him.

on the way back i sit next to jay and wait for us to arrive back at school. we make it back to school and the devons are making out again, and i just smile at jay, "bye jay" i hug him one more time and he hugs back, i feel him move closer and he kinda grinds on me, "okay jay. no" i laugh and back off and follow nick home. "so, you and jay? are you like crushing?" "what no. stop it nick im not!" when we get home nick and andrew talk about jessi's period. "have you gotten yours anya?" andrew says "yeah? and you get used to it trust me." i say. i had mine since i was 9, which is when i got my monster, shes so sassy i fucking love her.
