Blue Tie kid POV:
"Bye sweetie! Please be safe and don't take drugs from people" My mom placed a delicate kiss on my forehead.
"Mom!" I groaned in embarrassment, wiping away at the spot she kissed me in. "Not in-front of my minions, it makes me look vulnerable. They might try and steal my leadership role" I said in a hushed-tone, so no one would hear us, but her.
"You and your fantasies" she laughed, ruffling my hair
Fantasies? I'm pretty sure my gang was very much real, plus I was leader of it! "Come on, let's go my minions" I demanded and began walking towards the front door of the venue and they followed behind me.
"Bye!" I could hear my mom yell, happily.
"Okay, bye mom!" I said, not bothering to look back. When I walked through the front doors, I could hear the blasting music, coming beneath the doors towards the right of me. I think they were playing In Ha Mood by Ice spice. That's tuff music, low key.
"Yo! Tonight about be lit" Tomato boy shook his head back and fourth, pretending to play electric guitar like a rockstar.
"For real!" Dingle replied, nodding his head in agreement.
We walked up the counter, and the gruff man behind it asked for our names and we gave it to him. He wrote something down and said we could get to the party through the doors on right.
I could feel my heartbeat quicken. I was so excited! This was gonna be the best night of my life. Everyday I lived, I would make sure to reminisce on this moment. Nothing could ruin my night!
I made sure I was ahead of my gang and we all walked towards the door and I opened it, as soon as I did, the blaring music infiltrated my ears, the LED lights changing colors every few moments or so. It was crowded as fuck in here and there were a bunch of teenagers left and right, dancing and swaying to the loud music.
The place was nicely decorated and there were tables set up with some beverages and snacks and table pieces in the middle center of the tables. There were balloons and streamers and confetti everywhere and also a Dj stand, where a guy was holding headphones up to the side of his head, as he spun the CD to play the music. It was just exactly as I had envisioned it.
"Yo! Blue is in the house" Somebody yelled over the music and automatically everybody's head whipped towards where I was standing and a spotlight shined over me, illuminating my essence. I squinted my eyes at the sudden light but they adjusted quickly.
I smiled smugly, waving proudly at everyone. "Hey y'all! Are we about to get lit or what?"
Everybody cheered and clapped, jumping up and down, hyping me up like crazy, dawg "YEAH!"
"Then let's get lit!" I said cooly. Breaking out into a lil dance. The crowd went wild at my killer moves.
Sorry, Jessica this may be your party and your totally hot. but it's mine now! Cause I'm stealing the spotlight. Just can't help the fact that I'm loved so much.
I waltzed over to the center of the dance floor, showing everyone my smooth dance moves that I had rehearsed billions of times in my bedroom earlier, of course my minions followed me, so they could hype me up. The DJ changed the music to Still Into You by Paramore, but it was the remix verison. I began getting sturdy. Whew was I was going all out.
All around me the crowd sang along to the song, jumping and swaying all around "Yeah after all this time.. I'm still into you. I should be over all the butterflies!!"
"This song was so tuff and fire! Bro." White said, getting sturdy alongside me.
