"Hey look who we found," Megan said as she came along Zoe. But they returned with another addition to the gang, Grover Underwood. "Grover" Percy and Thalia called. "Hey guys." "Wait. how are you in New Mexico?" Thalia asked. "Nature send me here." "O-okay." Zoe came up to them and said, "Megan we should do the tracking spell once more." "Yeah. I was also thinking about it." "Hey, do you guys need any help?" Grover butt in. "Yeah. Do you have any acorns with you?" "Umm," Grover mumbled. He was chewing on a bran muffin, wrapper and all. "I think so. I just need to—" Suddenly he froze. And they felt a warm breeze rustling past them like a gust of springtime had gotten lost in the middle of winter. Fresh air seasoned with wildflowers and sunshine. And something else—almost like a voice, trying to say something. A warning. Zoe gasped. "Grover, thy cup." Grover dropped his coffee cup, which was decorated with pictures of birds. Suddenly the birds peeled off the cup and flew away—a flock of tiny doves. And Grover collapsed next to his coffee, which steamed against the snow. The quest gathered around him and tried to wake him up. He groaned, his eyes fluttering. "Hey!" Thalia said, running up from the street. "I just... What's wrong with Grover?" Percy said. "There's someone out there with Nature's magic. And it has overwhelmed him." "Well, we need to get him up. Look." Zoe said. "We have to get out of here." Percy looked around wondering what the hurry was and got some being followed vibes.

They made it to the edge of the town before the first two skeleton warriors appeared. They stepped from the trees on either side of the road. Instead of gray camouflage, they were now wearing blue New Mexico State Police uniforms, but they had the same transparent gray skin and yellow eyes. They drew their handguns. "Zoe. Bianca. Use your bows to overwhelm them. Thalia and I will close onto them." They nodded. Thalia tapped her bracelet. Aegis spiraled to life on her arm, but the warriors didn't flinch. Their glowing yellow eyes bored right into Percy's. "Our weapons will not work on them." Zoe said, After all she had some experience with these skeleton warriors. "Meaning?" "They are Spartoi. A kind of soldiers used by war deities. They are truly indestructible. They can only be truly destroyed by Children of death or themselves." "Weapons made from Stygian Iron can also kill them." Percy added. "But unfortunately, We don't have any." He removed his Golden Duster (Nemean Lion's Pelt) and gave it to Bianca. "Here take this." "But-" "Bianca, You're not trained in combat. You may have become a hunter. But still you are not experienced enough. So you need it more than us." He pushed the jacket into her hands and turned to Zoe, "I have an idea. But for that you all will stay here." And he charged.  The first skeleton fired. And Percy felt like Time has slowed down. He couldn't see the bullet but could feel its path, Thus he easily deflected it off the edge of his blade and kept charging. The skeleton drew a baton and Percy sliced off his arms at the elbows. Then He swung Riptide through his waist and cut him in half. It's bones unknit and clattered to the asphalt in a heap. Almost immediately, they began to move, reassembling themselves. The second skeleton clattered his teeth at him and tried to fire, but Percy knocked his gun into the snow. He saw the first skeleton firing rapidly at Percy. "Percy" His friends screamed. But Percy in a flash had the second Spartoi's body in a lock and held in front of the bullets' trajectory as a cover. The bullets bore into the chest of the Spartoi. It screamed in pain and burned to ashes immediately. Before the first Spartoi could realize what is happening, Percy had taken the second Spartoi's gun and fired at the first.

"Impressive. I wouldn't have come up with a strategy like that." Zoe commented watching Percy making the Spartois destroy themselves. "Percy has defeated way more powerful monsters than them. He has even defeated the Chimera." Grover said. "What?" Zoe was surprised. Chimera was one of the red alert of the hunt. And this boy has solo defeated that formidable monster. "Surprised? Then what will you do when you hear his other feats." Megan asked. Suddenly There was a crashing sound in the forest to their left, like a bulldozer. The trees were shivering. Branches were cracking. "A gift," Grover muttered. And then, with a mighty roar, the largest pig came crashing into the road. It was a wild boar, thirty feet high, with a snotty pink snout and tusks the size of canoes. Its back bristled with brown hair, and its eyes were wild and angry. "REEEEEEEEET!" it squealed.  Thalia raised her spear, but Grover yelled, "Don't kill it."
