"Talos!" Zoe gasped. "Who—who's Talos?" Bianca stuttered. "One of Hephaestus's creations," Thalia said. "But that can't be the original. It's too small. A prototype, maybe. A defective model." The metal giant didn't like the word defective. He moved one hand to his sword belt and drew his weapon. The sound of it coming out of its sheath was horrible, metal screeching against metal. The blade was a hundred feet long, easy. It looked rusty and dull. "Someone took something," Zoe said. "Who took something?" She stared accusingly at Percy. Percy shook his head. "I'm a lot of things, but I'm not a thief." "You must be. After all, you are a Boy." She said. And Percy had enough. He drew his sword, Fylakas, and walked threateningly towards Zoe. "Are you calling me a thief just because I am a boy?" Thalia and Megan immediately intervened knowing now was not the time. But Bianca was silent throughout. Suddenly the giant defective Talos took one step toward them, closing half the distance and making the ground shake. This was enough to snap Percy and Zoe out of their fight. "Run!" Megan yelped. They split up, the way they'd done with the Nemean Lion. Thalia drew her shield and held it up as she ran down the highway. The giant swung his sword and took out a row of power lines, which exploded in sparks and scattered across Thalia's path. Zoe's arrows whistled toward the creature's face but shattered harmlessly against the metal. Megan's spells' were not powerful enough to harm the giant. Bianca and Percy ended up next to each other. "You took something," He said suspecting her silence. "That bow." "No!" she said, but her voice was quivering. "Give it back!" He said. "Throw it down!" "I... I didn't take the bow! Besides, it's too late." "What. Did. You. take?" Before she could answer, He heard a massive creaking noise, and a shadow blotted out the sky. "Move!" He pushed Bianca out of the way as the giant's foot smashed a crater in the ground where they'd been standing.

"Hey, Talos!" Thalia yelled, but the monster raised his sword, looking down at Bianca and Percy. Suddenly One of the poles with power lines still attached flew toward Talos's back leg and crashed around his calf The lines sparked and sent a jolt of electricity up the giant's backside and stumbling the giant. Talos whirled around, creaking and sparking. Megan had bought them a few seconds. "Come on!" Percy told Bianca. But she stayed frozen. From her pocket, she brought out a small metal figurine, a statue of a god. "It... it was for Nico. It was the only statue he didn't have." "How can you think of Mythomagic at a time like this?" He said. There were tears in her eyes. "Throw it down," He said. "Maybe the giant will leave us alone." She dropped it reluctantly, but nothing happened. The giant kept goin after Megan. It stabbed its sword into a junk hill, missing her by a few feet, but scrap metal made an avalanche over her, and then they couldn't see her anymore. "No!" Thalia yelled. She pointed her spear, and a blue arc of lightning shot out, hitting the monster in his rusty knee, which buckled. The giant collapsed, but immediately started to rise again. But something crashed on to it's chest in such a force that the giant was thrown feets away. "You Scum." Percy yelled as he landed on his feet. He had his trident, The Storm, out. The Night sky darkened and bolts of lightning flashed onto the place the giant had crashed. The Metal whizzed in electric power. But the giant couldn't rise to its feet anymore. Something inside it had broken. But the guarding programmed rise again to exterminate the intruders. "You shall stay down." Percy shouted. "And YOU. WILL. STAY. DOWN." And he threw his Trident at the giant. The trident at the mid air was covered in heavy electric power. The lightning danced around its Silver metal.  The weapon was piercing the air in lightning speed and at the impact with Giant's body, the sound of heavy thunder was sound, sending shockwaves into the giants body. The Trident stabbed through the protective shields and went through it's core. The shockwaves had destroyed almost every rusty gear inside the giant. The Trident's trail only seen through the melting metal around the impact region and the junkyard seen through the hole.

Megan slowly climbed out the pit she had fallen into to see her quest mates standing with their mouth wide open and Percy standing before them in a distance. But the metal giant was nowhere to be seen. Megan walked over to them to see Thalia looking like she was back as a Pine Tree. She slapped Thalia's back to snap her out. "HOW THE HADES DID YOU DO THAT?" She yelled at once she was snapped out of her trance. Percy had his Trident back in his hand, he was using it as a walking stick to hold himself. That show had almost drained him. Even he was surprised at the power he just pulled. "Oh Thalia, surprised you aren't just the one with lightning powers?" He teased his cousin. Thalia just shook her head and walked to him before shocking him in a high voltage. "Glad to see that you are still not immune the shocking." Percy glared at her seeing her smirk. "Wait... Wait... Aren't you a son of Poseidon? Then how are you able to summon lightning?" Zoe asked. And Megan was shocked, "What?" But everyone ignored her. "Zeusy might be the god of Lightning. But My father is the Stormbringer." Percy answered. "And this Trident was the sacred weapon of the Titan of Storms, Enhancing my powers in folds." "Right explains why you were able to summon more than one bolt when I couldn't do that." Thalia said. "Excuse Me. Can you please include me also?" Megan screamed feeling left out. Everyone laughed at her before Bianca started explaining her everything.
