"I can talk to them"

"No, you can't! Nancy, stop! Nancy!" Ivy tried to stop Lund from going back upstairs, where shots were being fired relentlessly. But to no avail, as her and Spencer were stopped by someone with a gun when they tried to go after her.

"She's dead." Ivy mumbled, covering her face with her hands.

"You don't know that... Maybe she'll make it." Spencer tried to comfort Ivy, although not even he believed his own words. "I had a feeling. I gut feeling. Spence, I need you to promise me that we'll stick together. You don't know me that well and I totally understand if you don't trust me b-"

"I trust you. I promise we'll stick together till we get out of here." Spencer interrupted Ivy's rambling with his somewhat soothing words. "Do not fear, we're on the side of the righteous." Cyrus' voice rung out as he walked back to the tunnel with another man behind him.

"Where's Lund?" Ivy immediately asked, even if she already knew the answer. There was no way she would've survived that many bullets going through at once. No way.

"It wasn't us."

"What? You can't... shoot it out with cops; you have children here." Ivy told Cyrus, getting angry as time went by. They were acting irrationally by starting a fight like that since so many children and their families were down there.

"I didn't start this." Cyrus said while staring daggers at Ivy and loading his gun. He was wrong and he knew it.

"I take the roof, you take the tunnel." He told the man next to him, who immediately followed orders and loaded his gun as well.

Back at the BAU Derek was lounging around at his desk, when JJ barged in the bullpen, holding a remote, her hands slightly shaking as she approached Derek.

 "Morgan."

"What's up?" Derek lifted his face from his files, as JJ turned the TV on, showing him the news.

The news were reporting on the shooting match between Cyrus and the cops, which Morgan understood right away, shooting up from his spot. "JJ, that's not the ranch whre Ivy and Reid a-" JJ interrupted him with a nod of her head, her jaw clenching.

"Hotch!" Derek yelled at Aaron, who was wrapping up a call with someone in his office.

Upon hearing Derek's yelling, he hung up and exited his office, as did Dave, to see what was all the yelling about.

"the TV; Monroe and Reid." Derek said.

Monroe. That caught his attention immediately. Not that he didn't care about Spencer, of course he did... But there was something about hearing Ivy's last name - especially when she was on a dangerous mission - that made his heart race in the worst possible ways.

"Alright; that means we are the lead with hostage rescue and support. Let's go." Hotch instructed right after phones started going off, a hint of panic in his tone as he spoke to his agents. A tone that Rossi took notice of and made a mental note to tease his friend about it after all this was over.

"She's okay." He mumbled to Hotch before walking to his office to grab his things as well.

The following day, bright and early in the morning, they all gathered at the church.

"Spencer, they're here." Ivy quietly told her friend, who turned to look at her funny, "Who's here?" He asked equally as silently, both of them not wanting to be heard by Cyrus or anyone else, for that matter.

"The BAU. They're here. I overheard Cyrus talking to Rossi just yesterday afternoon. Rossi is gonna walk through those doors any second now." Ivy mumbled.

Just then, the doors opened and David Rossi walked in, holding a box full of food in his hands. He got patted down as he spoke with Cyrus and Ivy nudged Spencer, making him look at whatever she was looking at.

At first Dave couldn't locate either Spencer or Ivy, which worried him a lot.

Once cleared, he started walking with Cyrus slowly. "The children... and our guests." Cyrus showed Dave around, as he pointed to Spencer and Ivy, making Dave feel some sort of relief. "I'd hoped you'd let me take the children." David said to Cyrus, looking at him as they continued their stroll.

"Nah, they're our protection. I remember Waiko; we all do." Cyrus refused, stopping his stroll and looking at Rossi. "This isn't Waiko." Rossi reminded Cyrus, "They stay for now." Stubborn till the end, Cyrus denied again.

Rossi moved with Cyrus and they were out of earshot for Ivy and Spencer. Ivy sighed and slumped against her chair, her eyes following the two men as they talked and Cyrus lead David out of the church.

"Why does JJ call you Bella?" Spencer asked suddenly, makig Ivy turn to look at him all confused, "What?" she mumbled.

"JJ has been calling you Bella. Why?" Spencer asked again, making Ivy laugh softly, despite the situation they were in. "My middle name. She knows I hate it, so she calls me that just for the sole purpose of pissing me off."

Spencer nodded as what she said made sense and turned back to Cyrus and Rossi, who was walking out the door while shooting his agents a look that only they could catch, making both of them sigh.

"Prepare the wine."

 Wine?

 What wine?

"Spencer." Ivy mumbled, nodding towards Cyrus who was pouring wine into sippy cups for everyone to drink. "We're celebrating. Everyone drinks, everyone rejoices. Becuse today, we're one day closer to being with Him." Him as in God.

Ivy was looking around until her eye caught Jess and how she was following Cyrus with her gaze with so much love in them; poor girl, Ivy thought to herself before gently and discreetly tapping Spencers bicep, nodding towards the two.

"Look at Jessica's body language... The way she looks at him." She said in a hushed voice, not wanting anyone to listen in on her and Spencer's conversation. Even the walls had ears i that place and they were sure of that. "She literally worships him; there's no way she made that 911 call." Spencer added, both agents looking at the scenery in front of them.

The feeling in Ivy's stomach kept getting tighter and tighter, almost knocking the wind out of her, but she kept going as if nothing was going on.

I mean... what else is there to do, right?

"Look at how she inserts herself between them..." Ivy mumbled more so to herself than Spencer, watching as Jess's mother placed herself between her daughter and Cyrus, as if shielding her from him.

 Then it hit her.

The mother was the person behind the call.
