the Matilda's girls had experienced a sick you once, it wasn't great considering you were sick and in pain for 3 days but you got lots of cuddles and affection from it so you let slide. The arsenal girls however bar the three ausenal girls hadn't so when the cold contrast of London to Australia finally caught up with you they weren't shocked and had all been silently preparing for this to happen.
You were jet lagged and sick which to you meant you got more cuddles and love from everyone which you made very clear with your team mates who cautiously gave into you. Alessia was your favourite cuddle buddy at the minute and after taking another dose of your medicine you had quickly fallen asleep on the striker who cooed over you as you slept.
You woke up after realising you were no longer on lessi but the coach which was not as comfortable
"Where's lessi?" You groaned to steph who you lived with and Leah who had been staying over to help Steph look after you since Dean was away
"She's gone home chicky" Leah said as she came over and pushed the hair away from your eyes and slyly checked your temperature by kissing your forehead knowing you knew what she was doing but loved the physical contact while sick and would take it anyways
"whyyyy?" you whined "I want her to come back" you said pleadingly as Leah shook her head
"you can have cuddles with me, Steph when she gets home from the shops or Kyra came over to check on you, you can have cuddles with her" she said desperately trying to get you to agree to someone
"not Kyra she'll hurt me and make me feel worse because to her I'm "faking" being sick" you said mocking her as she doesn't believe you even after you had missed two training sessions and Steph, Caitlin, Leah, Kim and Katie had told her you were actually ill. Leah left you alone after that to phone Katie and Caitlin to come up to the apartment from theirs on the floor below because she was sure you would want Cait cuddles.While Leah was gone Kyra took that as her cue to come into the lounge, flop next to you and kick her feet onto your lap
"Get off Kyra" you said pushing her feet off your lap which she continued to put back on "Kyra go away" you said with more than slight voice cracks which then turned into a cough attack which attracted Leah back into the room
"Kyra. Off." She said in her stern Captain voice before she lifted you into a sitting position and rubbed your back as your breathing settled and you finished coughing with a slight weeze "Cait and Katie are coming ok, and I just messaged Steph an update and she said she's at the check out now but needs to go to the chemist to get more medicine" Leah explained as you nodded and laid back down.
Before you could dose of fully the doorbell rang and Leah made Kyra get up and get it as Cait and Katie came bustling in and Caitlin quickly made her way over to the couch and laid next to you giving you the option to go to her if you wanted which you quickly did and ended up nearly on top of her which Katie chuckled about as she walked in as you relaxed instantly and were out like a light.
A couple days later and you were feeling much better though you tried to act a little bit sick just to get hugs and everyone's attention really. Most of the team had caught on but still gave into you but Leah and Kim said it was a bad habit that you need to break out of so you were being watched.
