"I know I'm repeating myself, but I'll say it again and again. I told my family about you, and you should hear about them too," says Kunigami, now 25 years old and with a successful soccer career.
The popular wildcard that took the world by storm through his physical prowess. A force to be reckoned with and a shell of his former self.
He didn't deserve to be called a prowess or a strong man. Not when he broke down in tears and wailed like a child eight years ago. It's already been eight years. Everyone has grown up too much and too fast.
"You don't look a day older, isn't that right, my hero... Isagi," Kunigami whispered, admiring the well-maintained photo of him in Blue Lock, smiling as he won the match against PXG.
The gifts that were sent to the hospital stayed with him until the very end, though they were relocated to a small monument for Isagi.
Isagi Yoichi

The face of Blue Lock, the pride of Japan, and the heart of many
His grave stayed shining. As requested by the man himself... Kunigami stayed in denial for five years. Yelling and throwing furniture around, screaming, "HE'S NOT SUICIDAL!"
As if that did anything.
But the proof was there.
It was there, on his shelf, hidden towards the back. No one knew how Isagi could keep the box so hidden, but there it was after the police investigation.
The proof of his suicide.
Kunigami opened the letter he had cherished after all those years.
Dear Kunigami Rensuke,
From the moment we shared the beef for the goal, that was when I knew that you were my hero. You'd light up the field and stick everyone together like the strong pillar we all need.
Honestly, I think it's dumb of me to write this letter. I promised myself I'd go with a "bang", you know? But... I love you guys so much.
Trust me when I say no one would make fun of your hero stories; everyone needs a hero now and then.
And...
Teardrops were stained and dried on the sheet; it was there when Kunigami got it.
I know that you've changed for the... worse in this case. I missed the old you and your smiles, but everyone needed to survive in Blue Lock. I know I had to.
After I've gone into the outside world and left you guys. Whether through death or locked off. I will never forget your heroic deeds.
Good luck for the future, my hero—
Isagi Yoichi

To the Lukewarm Rin Itoshi,
I know that you are a bit on the moody side, but-
*"*Are you still reading that letter?" Sae said. Appearing behind Rin as they stood in front of Isagi's grave. The picture frame was accompanied by another frame of all together as a final photo. Bachira must've added that.
"Yeah..." that was all Rin could say.
These past years have made the brothers realize their idiotic fight and misconception. They may not be buddy-buddy, but they are close enough to proudly call each other brothers.

Symptoms of Depression
Fanfiction[Crossposted from my ao3 account: CoffeeCasino] Depression has many symptoms. Each was a clear sign when you looked hard enough, but unfortunately for everyone, Isagi was good at hiding them. Until he cracked... he couldn't take it any more and- "I'...
