Despite the fact that it's the first day of school after a vacation, I actually want to go to school today. No, not because I'm bored of not doing anything. I'm really excited for the auditions, I feel like I have a chance to be the lead this time. I don't want to jinx anything, tho.

On my way, I passed Ricky and Big Red. They almost ran me over with their skateboards.

He walked off his skateboard and put his arm around my waist.

"Oh please, don't act like you didn't almost ran me over with that skateboard of yours" I said, Big Red thought it was funny and let a chuckle.

"I'm not going to deny that, but the people who I almost ran over with with my skateboard always seems to love me" Ricky shrugged.

"Oh, is that so?" I questioned.

"Yeah, take Miss Jenn as example"

"You ran Miss Jenn over with your skateboard?" I said in total shock.

"Almost" he corrected, at the same time Big Red said "It was the first day of school".

"Well, then we all had a blunder that day" I shrugged.

"What do you mean by that" Ricky asked.

"I spilled coffee over Miss Jenn" I laughed and the others laughed too.

We made our way to the theater kid table, yes we have our table. Everyone greeted us, and I could feel the nerves of everyone rising as the time went by.

"Attention, thespians! I have a brief announcement. After spending the last couple of weeks Google-stalking the Menkie awards, I discovered that there is no category for Best Choreography. Which means I will audition for the musical" Carlos announced.

The room was filled with cheers and happiness.

"You're welcome" EJ said towards Ricky, who responded with a 'huh'.

"I've decided to take myself out of the running for the Beast, I've got a lot on my plate. Which reminds me, I should probably pick a meal plan for Duke"

Suddenly I spotted some blondie walking to our table. She seemed perfect.

Shit, I made eyecontact.

"Oh my days, am I seeing THE Wildcats in real life" she exclaimed. She grabbed her phone and made a selfie.

"Say cheese" which was quickly followed by a "cheese" by all the cast members.

"What do you mean you don't want to audition" I asked Ricky in total shock.

I thought we were supposed to do this together, well maybe I'm just delusional.

"I haven't ruled it out" Ricky sighed with a sad expression.

Walking in the auditorium, stressing out about my audition, not knowing what's up with Ricky. It's really messing me up right now.

I mean I did this last year without him, but this time, it feels way diffrent. Especially with that picture perfect blondie who has just walked in.

I was warming up, when all out of the sudden Lily came next to me.

"Hey, you really need to learn me some of these moves sooner or later" she smiled.
