Akanksha's pov:

"Angel do you really think I'm basic?" This is the fifth time he is asking this question and his expression is priceless, he is looking like a lost puppy, aww.

Deciding to end his misery, "Abhimaan I was just kidding. You're far from basic" I said while giving him a toothy smile.

His face lit up instantly after hearing me "Really?" He grinned and asked.

"Really but about your shirt...I didn't lie." I said with a serious face. Well it was not entirely a lie as his shirt is a little basic but we're talking about  Abhimaan, he can literally wear the most basic clothes ever and still he can make it look extraordinary.

"Hmm then I guess I've to get rid of this shirt because my love finds it too basic." He said with a smirk.

Am I hearing things? Or did he really say that he'd get rid of the shirt just because I didn't like it...not to mention, that 'my love' made my stomach do flips.

"Your face is turning red My Love" he said teasing me and stressed out the word my love, knowing full well what he's doing.

"It's because of the heat...yes because of the heat nothing else." It was the only excuse that came to my mind at the moment.

"The heat? But the AC is running at full speed my love." Ughh this guy!

I narrowed my eyes at him and turned my head to look outside through the window.

To which he let out a laugh and lord that sound surely did something to my heart, it felt like the laugh came from his heart, it was so pure.

I looked at his face and a smile automatically made it's way to my lips, he looked so carefree when he laughed, those mysterious light blue eyes crinkling in happiness. I'm feeling so proud of myself right now for being able to cause this laughter.

He cleared his throat and looked at me for a moment before focusing on the road again, the happy glint still present in his eyes.

"I'm sorry my love please don't be mad at me" He said, making an innocent face.

"I'm not" I replied while smiling.

"Thank god." He sighed dramatically and smirked.

Then the car stopped and I looked outside to see we've reached the location. Abhimaan went out quickly and walked to my side to open the door for me.

Chivalry is not dead people.

I took his hand which he forwarded for me to hold and stepped out of the car.

I muttered a thanks to him and we made our to where the people of both the companies were present.

I saw my team who was waiting for my approval to start any work so I went towards them and discussed some important points for making the blueprint of the mall.
