Prologue, what a Knightmare

(Elaine's Pov)

You might've heard medieval tales like the legendary King Arthur and his knights of the round table, the sword in the stone, the love affair between Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot, and the city of Camelot itself. You also might of heard that there can only be one true king worthy enough to wield the sword in the stone, Excalibur. But what if I told you that in this story, King Arthur was not the one who pulled Excalibur? 

FLASHBACK 

(Queen Guinevere appears in the scene. She starts pacing back and forth nervously. Until young Elaine enters the living room looking at her worried mother) 

Young Elaine: Mother? What's wrong? 

(Guinevere to see her daughter, and approaches her) 

Guinevere: Nothing is wrong, sweetie 

Young Elaine: But you look sad, and where's papa? 

(Guinevere placed her hands on her daughter's face, she was about to say something, until the two were interrupted by the loud banging sound from the door. Guinevere's eyes widened as she hold onto Young Elaine and Guinevere pulled her and her daughter to the back of the room)

Guard 1: We know you are hiding! 

Guard 2: Come forth for the Eldritch Witch! 

(Young Elaine's eyes were filled with fear, and confusion. The guards from outside of the door managed to knock down their door and they entered the room. Guinevere steps upfront to defend her daughter, and she pulled out a sword ready to fight. Guinevere starts fighting off the guards. Young Elaine watched her mother fight, but she starts freaking out and crying) 

(Guinevere was being held hostage. One of the guard went to grab Young Elaine. Suddenly Adam, Elaine's father, enters the room. He went over to fight the guards and they were all defeated. Adam quickly rushed over to Guinevere and Young Elaine) 

Young Elaine: Papa! 

(Young Elaine quickly hugs tight onto Adam)

Adam: Guinevere, we have to leave Camelot

Guinevere nods: Here, quickly take Elaine! 

(Adam leads both Guinevere and Elaine away from their own home.  Outside of the village of Camelot, there was fire everywhere. Adam holds onto Guinevere's hands, while carrying young Elaine on his back. People were running away in fear.  As Adam and his family were making their way out of Camelot, the Eldritch Witch, Morgana Le Fey appears right in front of them) 

(Young Elaine has never felt so scared, she was holding on tightly to her father. Without any hesitations Morgana steps forward and shoots out fire magic towards the family. Young Elaine's eyes widened in fear and Guinevere steps upfront and pulls out an amulet to protect them. Guinevere. She turns over to look at Adam) 

Guinevere: Adam, take Elaine and go! 

(Adam still stood their worrying about Guinevere) 

Guinevere: Adam, I said go! Run! 

(Adam runs away with his daughter. The great warlock arrives at the scene with his horse, and he was in shock to what was happening around the village. Merlin looks over and sees Adam running over to him with his daughter) 

Merlin: Adam?! What has happen?

Adam: 

Please Merlin.. there's not much time, take my daughter to somewhere safe

Young Elaine: No, papa! I want to stay with you! 

(Young Elaine hugs Adam, Adam returns the hug to his daughter for one last time. Adam starts feeling emotional saying his last goodbye to his daughter. Merlin gets off his horse)

Adam: Stay Strong Elaine, my daughter

(Adam was holding onto Elaine's hands, he stood up and was about to leave)

Young Elaine: No, Papa? Where are you going? 

(Adam looks at Merlin with sorrow in his eyes. Merlin looked back at Adam, knowing he had to take Elaine away) 

Adam: 

Take her to the human world. And keep my daughter safe Merlin, protect her as if she was your own

(Young Elaine standing in confusion sees her own father leaving to help fight) 

Young Elaine cries: Papa? Papa! Come back! 

(Young Elaine tries to run after him, but was stopped by Merlin) 

Young Elaine: No! Papa! Mama! 

(Merlin carries Elaine onto his horse, and he quickly gets on behind Elaine) 

Merlin: I'm so sorry little one 

(Young Elaine tries to protest, but Merlin then signals his horse and the horse, the two starts riding away from Camelot. Young Elaine cries, and her eyes widened in fear, as she suddenly sees flaming fire coming straight at her.) 

Young Elaine screams: No! 

Elaine cries out: NOO!! 

(Elaine was sleeping, until she suddenly wakes up and breaks away from her nightmare. Causing her to panic. Elaine starts breathing heavily feeling frightened by the nightmare. She noticed her hands starts shaking, and at the same time she tries to calm herself down and  starts to observe around her surroundings in her room, realizing it was all a nightmare, just another bad dream. Elaine slowly lets out a deep exhale, and tries lying back down on her comfy bed, then covers a blanket over her head)
