PRESENT DAY
(Elaine wakes up in the morning, and went over to the sink to wash her face. While washing her face, she looked up in the mirror then looked at both of her hands. Elaine starts seeing the flashing visions of her hands being burnt by the fire. But as she shook her head, her hands were both normal. She started feeling scared. Elaine went over to grab her bag. Elaine has been struggling with anxiety ever since she was little. But she couldn't have gone through all of it, without her closest friend, Tristan)
(As Elaine arrives to her school a bit late, she met up with Tristan inside their gym, where they were about to have a fencing tournament with their fellow classmates. Both Tristan and Elaine sat by the bench, grabbing gears, and preparing their fencing uniform. Tristan looks over and noticed the sorrow look on his friends face. And he already knew something was up)
Tristan: Hey, is everything okay Elaine?
Elaine: Yeah everything is fine, really
Tristan: If you don't feel like seeing fighting today, I can ask our professor-
Elaine:
No, there's no need, I'll be okay. Besides we need to participate anyway in this kind of sport
Tristan:
Okay, so then, are you going to tell me why you were almost late this morning?
(Elaine stood silent for the moment)
Tristan: It's one of those visions again isn't it?
Elaine: No
Tristan:
Liar. Elaine, we've been best friends since it feels like forever now. You know you can be honest with me right? I just want to make sure you're feeling okay
(Elaine looks at her friend, and was about to say something, until the two were interrupted by one of their classmates falling down from the fencing fight)
Student 1: Oww!
Professor: Are you alright over there??
(The other opponent takes off his helmet and reveals to be Hank, the school bully. Hank looked over to Tristan giving him a glare. Tristan gulped but also tries to act tough)
Hank: Anybody else in this room, wishes to challenge me into a duel?
(Tristan stands up and approaches to Hank)
Elaine: Tristan, no-
Tristan: You're bullying days are about to be over today
(Both Tristan and Hank were now face to face with each other's. Elaine standing by the crowd was beginning to worry for her friend. The professor signals the two opponents back to their side and they were ready to fight. Once the professor signal to fight. Tristan made his first move to fight. Hank continues to block him. Tristan and Hank are now fencing each other's)
(As Elaine watches, she can tell Hank was trying to make Tristan feel tired. So he could have the advantage to attack him. Tristan starts feeling tired, and that's when Hank fences back at him. Students starts crowding over to watch because the fighting was becoming intense. Suddenly Tristan accidentally trips and falls down. Hank didn't back down and was about to fence Tristan right in the face. Elaine's eyes widened seeing her friend hurt. She couldn't stand by anymore except puts on her helmet and went up to defend Tristan)
(As Elaine went up she uses her fencing blade to block herself. Hank was surprised by Elaine's entrance. The professor signals everybody to stop and take a minute break. Elaine looked deadly serious and glared back at Hank. He huffs angrily and walks over to his side. Elaine looks over and kneels down to Tristan)
Elaine: Tristan, Tristan, are you okay?
Tristan: Yeah I'm fine thanks for the save. He's not defeating me that easily
Elaine: I think that's enough for you, lets forget about it
(Elaine tries pushing Tristan away)
Hank: Leaving so soon? What's the matter Elaine? Scared of a little fight?
(Elaine turns around to face Hank)
Elaine: Who said I was afraid to fight in the first place?
(Suddenly from the crowd, a mysterious person wearing a black cloak, was keeping an eye on Elaine. Watching her from a distance. Elaine was getting herself ready to fight. And so was Hank. Tristan tries to get Elaine out of it, but she refuses not to leave. In that moment Elaine kept hearing sounds of swords clashing each other from her past, but ignores it. Elaine took a deep exhale, and grips her hands tightly on the fencing blade. As the Professor signals them to fight. )
(Both Elaine and Hank stepped forward to fence each other. After a few moments flew by both Hank and Elaine were still fencing each other. Only this time the two were fencing around the room. All of the students were into the fight even Tristan. But Elaine never backed down from fighting. The mysterious person was even impressed by her fighting skills. Suddenly Hank starts feeling exhausted from fighting. In that moment Elaine managed to defeat him. The crowd cheered for Elaine wildly. So was Tristan smiling proudly. Elaine takes off her helmet and has her blade aiming at Hank, as he was on the ground)
Elaine: Now that you're in defeat, i suggest you kneel before you're new champion
(Hank felt embarrassed but the decides to go along with it. He gets up and slowly kneels down in front of Elaine. The crowd of students were surprised, even Tristan)
Elaine:
Do you really think that bullying people around, is fun? Why do you keep bullying them? Tell me something Hank, if someone bullied you and pushed you and your head into a locker is that funny for you? No! I've had enough of your ridiculous nonsense
(The crowd and the mysterious person continues to watch Elaine confront Hank)
Elaine:
Just because you're the infuriating superstar captain of the football team, doesn't mean you get to go around and bully other people. A good captain and leader, stands and help other people.
(Hank looks at Elaine starts feeling regret, then looks away sadly)
Elaine being sassy:
Since you're on a time out session, I suggest you go into a corner and think about what you have done. Afterwards you apologize to everyone. And my friend Tristan. Do you copy that?
(Hank nods slowly to Elaine. With her anxiety, Elaine can feel a mixture of emotions: Happy, sad, upset, angry, annoyed all of the emotions. And sometimes she can and can't control them. Her emotions would come unexpectedly. Elaine leaves Hank speechless and walks away. The crowd makes a path way for Elaine and starts clapping for her. Elaine approaches to Tristan)
Elaine: Oh my god, what just happened?!
Tristan:
You- my friend- just stood up for herself and completely taught Hank a very important lesson to learn! I'm so proud of you!
(Tristan hugged Elaine proudly, Elaine smiles happy and returned the hug back. The mysterious person was impressed by Elaine's speech and leaves the crowd. The two friends later makes their way to the bus for their trip to Camelot Festival)
Tristan: This calls for a celebration
Elaine: At the Camelot Festival?
Tristan: Yeah! It's like one of the most coolest place ever
(The mysterious person with the black cloak continues to follow Elaine. Elaine stopped entering the bus and felt like she was being watched, and she was beginning to worry)
Tristan: Elaine, are you coming?
Elaine: Yeah I'm coming
(Elaine looks around and sees no one, then enters the bus. Everyone was off)
