(During late at night, King Mark decide to summon Modred over to the the main hall, to discuss a business plan that he had in mind. King Mark was sitting on the throne and in his thinking position until then hears a knock at the door)

King Mark: Come on in

(Modred enters the room)

Modred: You wish to see me? Your majesty

King Mark: Yes

King Mark: Have you ever joust before, dear boy?

Modred: Indeed I have, in fact jousting is one of my professions to begin with

King Mark:

As you already know, that stubborn child probably doesn't even know a thing about the Pyrolyx game

King Mark:

Reason why i chose Sir Lancelot to train Elaine is because I know she won't have enough time to train, even if trained by the best Knight

Modred: You're point here sir?

King Mark:

I want you to fight Sir Lancelot in a jousting tournament, so that it can delay Elaine's time of training.

Modred: Since her trainings going to be delayed, she'll feel unprepared for the game

King Mark:

Precisely, glad to see we're on the same page... I will announce the tournament first thing tomorrow morning

(Modred nodded and leaves the room. King Mark gets up and begins to pace back and forth, thinking of a plan on how to defeat Elaine)

King Mark: Stubbornness child, thinking she has the guts to defeat me? The King of Camelot

King Mark: I need to show them all, that I am the most powerful King!

(King Mark decided to go to Merlin's library. As he enters, he couldn't see Merlin anywhere. King Mark looks around the library seeing flying books, magical items floating around, he was feeling the magic inside the library. Merlin shows up, and interrupts Cornwall)

Merlin: Cornwall? What are you doing here?

King Mark:

I um, ahem, wanted to hand an invitation to you for the jousting tournament tomorrow morning

(Merlin's eyes glow, and he can see through King Mark, knowing that he is lying)

Merlin: Liar!

(Without any hesitations. Merlin locks up away important magic totems and artifacts he had in his library away from King Mark)

Merlin: Nice try Cornwall. You deceitful, conniving, obnoxious, insignificant.

King Mark: Merlin-

Merlin:

Oh ho! I can name all the terms vocabulary that defines a sneaky, selfish, untrustworthy, mad man like you!

King Mark:

Merlin- you don't understand. Calling me selfish? Says the person who locks up away his own magic, when it could've helped protect the entire kingdom!

Merlin: Please, it's just another one of you're excuses- excuses!

King Mark laughs:

Wow! It's a shame, Merlin isn't willing to share his own magic to his King. Considering it would make the Pyrolyx fun

Merlin:

You're a psychopath you no that right Cornwall?! Challenging an innocent child to Pyrolyx game!
