Exceptional Part 1

Attention! Girls of the Westville High School, please report to the guidance counselor on the 8th floor. Thank you. The intercom woke everyone on the 9th floor except Sophie. She's a heavy sleeper. Bella woke up with a yawn and nudge Sophie. Sophie woke up all fresh. Boy, there are noises in San Diego. Chyna awoke and so did Olive. They both rushed to the bathroom and decided to have a contest on who can get ready the fastest. Chyna won of course, because Olive believes you shouldn't rush. It leads to bad effects. Bella woke a great hair day. Sometimes she wakes up with a bad hair day at her house. Pepper complimented her as they both got ready. Sophie, a force of habit, she slid on her headphones and brushed her teeth. Bella stole Sophie's headphones which led a wild chase around their room. Teddy woke up to a happy sound which played on her alarm. Phoebe woke up early for a morning run. Teddy didn't mind and they raced each other to the shower. Taylor woke up to a soft sound of music. Guess where that came from? Emma woke up early and was still sad after the whole acceptance letter thing. She turned on music from her phone and was nodding the beat to it. Taylor gave her a thumbs-up and went to get ready. Liv woke up to the footsteps in the bathroom where Maddie was. Liv scooted Maddie out of the bathroom and got ready herself. Finally, everyone headed out to the 8th floor. The elevator ride was a little awkward but they survived without embarrassment. As they stepped out, the guidance counselor, Lance introduced himself. "I'm Lance. Hi girls. I understand you are all from different parts of USA so today, we are going to get comfortable with each other and get know each other too." All 11 girls nodded and lined up. Lance continued, "We will start by telling a bit about yourself to your fellow classmates. Chyna Parks?" Chyna raised her hand and stepped out, "Hi I'm Chyna. I'm excited to be here. I'm from San Francisco. My talent is music." Everyone clapped and it was Olive's turn, "Hi I'm Olive. So nice to meet you all. I'm also from San Francisco. My talent, or prodigy, is an eidetic memory." Next up was Bella, "Hi I'm Bella. I'm so happy to meet new friends. I'm from Silverado, Texas. My talent is football." After 20 minutes, they took a break.
