"The door is locked. Dang it!" Bella said. Phoebe studied a key hole on the handle and said, "Emma, I need a bobby pin." Emma pulled a bobby pin from her hair and placed it in Phoebe's hand. Phoebe stuffed the the bobby pin and twisted it around. Finally, she reached the handle and the door opened. "How did you pick that lock?" Pepper asked as she pushed opened the door. Phoebe gave the bobby pin back to Emma and said, "One of the few things you learn living with a brother who wants to be a villain." The girls laughed and searched through the room. "No, no, no!" Liv said as she rustled through Hailey's papers. "Where could they be?" Teddy asked. "Girls, it's not like we are going to find anything in here. She obviously doesn't want anyone to find out. We need to get deeper." Phoebe said. The girls all nodded and headed out. They returned to the ground level and exited the hotel. They returned to Westville and they saw Hailey and Clyde in the cafeteria. "He's having a good time. I thought suspension is supposed to be boring." Sophie mumbled. The girls shrugged and headed to Bella's room. They called Stacy again.
Stacy: "Sup, girls?"
Taylor: "We still haven't figure out why Hailey is mean."
Stacy: "So why did you call me?"
Emma: "We thought you might give us hints. After all, you are her friend."
Stacy: "Former friend."
Olive: "Did you ask her about her parents?"
Stacy: "Yeah I did. Her dad was traveling around the world for a business. She said her mom was in San Gabriel."
Chyna: "Isn't San Gabriel near Los Angeles?"
Stacy: "Yes, which was suspicious. Hailey never visited her and Hailey's mom sure has to have money and Hailey will do anything to get money and buy clothes and accessories."
Pepper: "So you are saying that her mom might be......."
Stacy: "Gone. You should ask her. She may be mean and unreasonable but she still has a heart."
Phoebe: "Thanks. Bye Stacy."
Stacy: "Bye."
Now comes the hard part, the talking. The girls rushed to 8th floor and found Hailey alone. Yes! "Um, Hailey, can I talk to you?" Phoebe asked. The girls went out of the cafeteria and left Phoebe and Hailey alone. "Yeah, sure, whatever." Hailey said. "Did something happen? Do you want to talk about it?" Phoebe asked. "No. So what did you want to talk about?" Hailey said folding her arms.
