A/N: Newest Story for Charmed Family (Piper and Leo) one-shots. Some will be some I came up with and others will be some prompts I was given. I hope you all enjoy the ride!

Prompt: Leo didn't become an elder, but Chris still comes. Piper and Leo realize instantly that there is some sort of connection.

A/N 2: I am not going to tie it to a particular episode, just the season 6 time frame.

Chapter 1: Recognition

It has been a couple weeks since the mysterious whitelighter showed up in the manor. The family has been guarded, with Paige and Phoebe being extremely cautious. Leo had checked with The Elders several times concerning the young adult but they never had information. Piper and Leo on the other hand couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. All they knew about this Whitelighter is his name is Chirs Perry from the future and he is intently focused on killing as many Demons as possible.

It was late at night as everyone was in their rooms after a long day of demon hunting thanks to a certain whitelighter. Piper and Leo had just checked on Wyatt in the nursery to see he was thankfully asleep. They now lay in bed.

"Leo..." Piper whispered into the dark.

"What Piper? He says back flipping onto side to look at his wife,

"We need to talk about Chris...my gut keeps telling me something is off." Piper says with passion.

"I agree...so what do you want to do?"

"I don't know...he is tight lipped about the future, I don't think he will come right out and say anything. We need a plan." Piper says.

They spend the rest of the night quietly talking and coming up with a plan to execute the next time they see him free of fight. Although, like every charmed plan, it never goes as planned. The next morning the family is in the dining room eating the breakfast that Piper had prepared, quietly talking with each other when they suddenly see the white lights as Chris was orbing in.

"No...it is the weekend" Phoebe says immediately.

"I don't care Phoebe, this is important!" Chris says back with urgency. Just as he finished they watched as three demons with energy balls shimmer into the room. They all quickly rise, the girls ready to fight and Leo orbing Wyatt to his room. It becomes apparent that these are strong demons as the fight lasts longer than normal. Piper is able to blow up one, which just angers the other two. Piper then tries to blow up the second but while she is trying to do that the first one takes advantage of her being distracted and hits her with an energy ball hitting her right in the chest.

"MOM!" Chris yells out, distracting everyone from fighting. His eyes quickly turn to anger as he turns to look at the demons and uses his telekinesis to knock the remaining two out. Paige and phoebe quickly jump back into action saying a spell to properly vanquish them.

As soon as the demons are gone everyone quickly runs to Pipers side. They are all focused on her watching as Leo starts to heal her but cant help but notice the tear rolling down Chris face. It takes a minute but the wound starts to heal up. Piper slowly starts to sit up quickly hugging Leo as it has become second nature to hug after he heals her. The sisters then offer a smile themselves, she then looks up to meet Chris' eyes.

"Did you call me mom?" Piper says, pointing her finger at him.

"Um...no" He responds with a stutter. He begins to back up and starts to attempt to orb when Leo catches him preventing him from doing so.

"You did, you called me mom" Piper says again. All eyes watching the young whitelighter. "Who are you really Chris?"

"I...I can't tell you" He responds more vulnerable than he has ever sounded to the family.

"It is time to come clean, Chris," Leo says looking at him.

"My name is Chris Halliwell and my parents are Piper and Leo" He says softly looking at the ground.

No one responds immediately as they are all shocked by the confession. Piper is the first one to make a move as she slowly walks closer to him putting her hand on his cheek. He is quick to react as he hasn't felt his mom's touch in such a long time. "Just forget I said anything" Chris starts to defend.

"No," Piper responds simply.

"We will not forget about our son" Leo says walking behind, placing his left hand on his wife's back. The emotion is still evident on Chris' face.

"I knew there was something about you, I felt it from the moment you came" Piper said as the dam finally breaks and Chris cries.

"Mom...I love you so much," He says, giving her a hug. The family starts to settle all getting to know each other. After a couple emotional minutes Piper starts to direct Chris to the couch.

"I am so glad I got to meet you...but Chris, why are you here?" Piper asks her son. He immediately looks down, refusing to meet his family's eyes. He has an internal war with himself as he tries to figure out if he should tell the complete truth.

"What if you don't believe me?" He asks hoping for the best because he is tired of hiding.

"We will. You are family" Phoebe interjects. They sit for a few seconds in silence when Chris finally lifts his head up making eye contact with Leo as he knows he won't be able to bare his mom's face when he tells his family.

"I came back to save my brother," the worry starts to show on everyone's faces. "In my future he is different. I came back to save him from turning evil." He says turning to look at Piper which he regrets instantly seeing her eyes turn glassy.

"We let you just come here, risking your life, your existence, for your brother?" Leo questioned realizing how dangerous this was for Chris.

"Um...you guys are not really a factor in my life anymore." He says bluntly. "Honestly, I didnt even think of myself, I just wanted to save my family."

"I am glad we know now. We will fix this." Piper says, looking at Chris.

"I hope so," Chris says in return.

"This family sticks together, we will save both my sons" Piper says standing up and grabbing Chris again ready to fight this war for her kids.
