After walking for a little bit, the trio arrived at the Cave Of Roots, home to the royal family. With paintings and carvings on the walls and royal guards protecting every entrance, this was unlike anything Kion had ever seen before. It wasn't like this at Pride Rock, though the lionesses were usually guarding during the day. The beautiful teal sky was illuminated by the golden sun which had reached its peak, heating up the already humid Jungle. Nearly everyone in the kingdom had arrived to see their hero, with enemies watching from afar. Even children from both sides arrived on the scene, most not understanding anything more than that this is either good for them or bad for them. Many children interacted with each other, but this resulted badly, and whilst there isn't a law against it due to the two parties now unable to negotiate in peace, it is becoming a rule that if someone from enemy territory is spotted, they are held hostage until the weekly trade of criminals, in which the family or they personally will have to pay a fine of free war supplies and potential allegiance.

As each member of the Jungle took their place a safe distance away from the action, Binga and Shani stepped to one side, accompanied by their own guards. Only four, but they were safer than most. The safest was of course the King and Queen, who were annoyed by the lack of presence by their own daughter. With 7 guards each, they were both completely fine. And with a young cub in the paws of the Queen smiling at Kion, Kion could tell just how kind they were and how grateful they were that he'd came. Little did he know their was someone hiding within the shadows of the palace. In fact, the whole terrorist gang was on standby. They were hiding in groups or alone, some blending into the crowd. However, a mysterious lion known as Shetani was leading a group of 50, which consisted of lions, lionesses, bulls, crocodiles and birds. Ten in each group. They were hiding in the palace, prepared to crash the ceremony and eliminate Kion instantly, draining hope and pleasing Scar.

As the crowds quietened down, Kion walked up towards the King and Queen, with who Kion assumed was the head guard stepped next to him.

"Their majesties King Faraji and Queen Kamili welcome Prince Kiongozi of the Pridelands. Kion is here to start a resistance which may sustain in his absence and will help us have peace again.", said the head guard who was about Kion's age.

"Welcome Kion, to the Jungle Kingdom. It is not what it once was, plagued by war. But with your help, I do believe that we can transform this back into the haven it was, and the alliance between here and the Pridelands may flourish and prosper.", said King Faraji, who's kind but firm voice reminded Kion of his father Simba.

"We cannot wait to introduce you to our daughter. Despite her not being born royal, she is one of our own and she has become a fundamental part of our family. Until then, you will meet the Jungle Watch and train with them. We need to recruit more members so whilst we do that, we need you to train the ones we already have.", added the queen, her voice calm and gentle like Nala's.

"Do you think you can do that?", asked the King, all eyes turning to Kion, awaiting the life-changing answer.

"Yes I do your majesties.", replied Kion, seeing the relief and joy on the faces of many.

"Splendid. Now we celebrate the...", was all the king could say because Shetani's forces had attacked, causing panic. The guard jumped into action and the fight began. Instantly, the Jungle was losing to terrorists, as animals retreated to a section of broken trees for cover. The King and Queen's personal guards allowed the royal family to get away safely, and managed to clear the Cave of Roots. Shetani was forced to reveal himself, as he lunged onto his brother, clawing at his fur. Shetani had been training and had birds attacking the King.

"Sir! What should we do?", the head guard questioned Kion who was confused but managed to regain composure.

"Have the royal guard defend the Royal Family and the Jungle Watch deal with the terrorists trapping the animals by those broken trees. I'm going to help the King.", said Kion, who ran over to the King. Everyone went to their assigned stations and the battle changed quickly.
