My heart raced at the speed of any f1 racing car when his ocean blue eyes met mine . Did he just look directly into my eyes ? Oh god I'm blushing right I couldn't help but smile , feeling caught.
I saw a slight change in facial expressions but couldn't understand anything.
The bell rang , making me flinch a bit .I turned around, packed my bag and was about to leave the classroom. That's when ma'am called both of us .
"Aarya and Aston you both stay in the class , rest of you leave".
Why did she want both of us to stay? Would she be going to lecture us for our eye contact session ? God knows .
I approached the teacher as Astonfollowed behind me .
But one thing I noticed was that the teacher took both of our names in a single line.
Call me silly or what but my heart fluttered while listening to it .
" Yes ma'am . You called us?"
" Yes. Congratulations, Aarya ,I'm super proud of your achievements but I'm disappointed by Aston ."
And I want to help Aston and it could be only done by you . So would you please help me?"
Oh I see , ma'am showed her disappointment in Aston's performance. "Yes ma'am .I would be glad to help him ."
"Okay then great, what you have to do is , improve his weak areas so that it would really help to pass the supplements and I trust you , you're the one who can do it . But there's one problem, you have to sacrifice your vacation for him .
Oh god , I forgot we were going to get a long 2 month vacation as our exams finished and I was about to go to my relatives place who also stays in Italy .
But as long as it's about helping Aston , I am willing to do it , not because I like him but because I want to see him improve .
Despite my plans for the vacation, I agreed to help him .
"Thank you so much , now you both can leave . Also Aston please co-operate with Aarya." To Which he didn't even react . Strange .
Bidding the teacher, I left the classroom. I heard faint footsteps behind me and turned to look around to see him stopping in his position,
I heard him saying something but it was merely a whisper .
And the second thing which I clearly heard was
"Sorry for the inconvenience caused by me . It's okay if you don't want to teach me . I will make an excuse and take the blame on me ."
What ? That's all he wanted to say to me . But what can I accept from him? At least he talked to me .
But wait wait did just Aston the guy who has been my crush for 2 years said something to me . I'm on cloud nine . I think I'm going to jump off my bed today .
