Meanwhile, Brayden rode over to his 'headquarters' for a long day of work.

To which, in reality, was actually a hidden warehouse at the very edge of Los Angeles.

With the empty storage place filled up entirely of the best advanced equipment and technology that one could ever have.

Enough to even make a billionaire jealous.

As his two friends, Pedro and Lola, who were already glued to one of the tech screens, logs into the surveillance system that can track across the entire wide span of the town itself, using satellite and street cameras to track down everything and everyone in sight.

"So, what do we got here?" Brayden asked right as he entered into the area and joined with them on The Watch.

"Nothing much yet. All the streets look pretty clear of crime, so far. My guess is that they're simply waiting until nighttime to do their dirty deeds." Pedro informed him while clicking away the keyboard of the computer with his fingers in a fast pace.

Possibly so that he can hack quickly without alerting any cops or security services in the vicinity.

"Okay good. That'll give me time to look into my suit and make some changes before the Night Watch starts." Brayden said, before looking over at the screen in concern.

Feeling agitated about a thought that won't stop bugging his mind.

Before eventually gives into his worries.

"Um hey, Pedro. While you're on there, can you take a look at the cameras out in Skid Row street and see where Dominic is at?" Brayden asked him.

"Again? How long is it going to be before you finally convince yourself that he doing just fine by himself." Pedro asked, annoyed by his friend's persistence on 'surveillance checks' of his own friend.

"As long as he's out there in the streets, I will always check on him to make sure that he is safe." Brayden explained.

"How in the world, do you even know where he is at half the time?" Lola asked, confused

"I have my ways." Brayden said, dismissively.

"Oh geez. I'm sorry to say this because you're my friend but you either have some horrible trust issues or you just simply want to spy on your own best friend because this whole stalking thing is getting ridiculous." Pedro said, rolling his eyes before pinpointing the specific location of Skid Row and hacked his way into their cameras until he got a clear view of the area and turned around.

"There, I've accessed the mainframe and got the whole street live. But you need to stop doing this to him before it gets out of hand. It's invasive" Pedro said, shaking his head as he stood up from his seat so that Brayden can sit down to look over the cameras.

"Why don't you just talk to him? You guys have been living in that house for what 5? 10 years? And yet, you refuse to have an honest conversation with him." Lola said, also believing this is to be impulsive and folded her arms.

"It's not that simple. He doesn't want to talk to me. And besides, it's better if we're not too close in each other's lives, anyways. It'll keep him from getting hurt if anything were to happen during the Night Watch." Brayden said, lowering his head, sadly.

"Oh really? And being a cop is not dangerous too?" Pedro asked rhetorically as Brayden immediately turned his head in irritation.

"You think I don't know that? You're right. I'm scared that he's a cop and is out there dealing with criminals. But I can't do anything about it. He chose to go through the academy and work in law enforcement for himself. But at least for now, he is not alone. He has a cop partner that I trust enough to cover for him in time of need. However, even she, may not be there for him 24/7 and then what? Anything could happen to him whether he is at home or going somewhere after his work shift and that's why I'm looking out for him." Brayden insisted while Pedro and Lola look at each in concern before glancing back to help their friend out.
