The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, painting the room in a gentle glow as Yuna Lee lay nestled in the warmth of her bed, lost in the embrace of slumber. Her weekend retreat was a rare sanctuary from the chaos of her daily life as a dedicated nurse, and she cherished every moment of peace it afforded her.

But her tranquil reprieve was abruptly shattered by the insistent chime of the doorbell, jolting Yuna from her blissful sleep. With a groan, she reluctantly peeled herself from the comfort of her blankets and stumbled towards the door, her mind still foggy with sleep.

As she swung the door open, she was met with the sight of Park Jimin standing on her doorstep, his expression a curious blend of concern and urgency. "Yuna, it's time for Taehyung's daily check-up. Are you ready?"

Yuna blinked sleepily, the events of the previous day slowly filtering back into her consciousness. With a sheepish smile, she nodded in understanding, quickly gathering her things as she prepared to accompany Jimin.

As they made their way to Taehyung's mansion, Yuna couldn't help but marvel at the grandeur that surrounded her—the sprawling estates, manicured gardens, and imposing gates that guarded the secrets within. It was a world far removed from her own humble existence, a stark reminder of the stark disparities that existed in the world.

Arriving at the mansion, Yuna's breath caught in her throat as she took in the sight of the opulent surroundings. With its marble floors, towering columns, and intricate tapestries adorning the walls, it was a palace fit for royalty.

Following Jimin's lead, Yuna navigated the labyrinthine corridors of the mansion until they reached Taehyung's private chambers. With a hesitant knock, Jimin announced their arrival before ushering Yuna into the room.

Taehyung reclined on the luxurious bed, his expression guarded as he regarded them with a mixture of skepticism and disdain. "Took you long enough," he muttered, his tone laced with irritation.

Yuna bristled at his curt remark, but she refused to be deterred. With a professional demeanor, she set about her task, gathering her medical supplies and preparing to conduct the daily examination.

Despite Taehyung's aloof demeanor, Yuna remained steadfast in her duties, her movements precise and methodical as she went about her examination. She refused to be intimidated by his icy demeanor, determined to provide him with the care and attention he needed, regardless of his attitude.

As she worked, a tense silence settled over the room, broken only by the soft hum of medical equipment and the occasional rustle of fabric. In that moment, amidst the opulence of Taehyung's surroundings, Yuna couldn't help but wonder about the man lying before her—the mysteries that lay hidden behind his guarded facade, and the unexpected bond that seemed to be forming between them.

As Yuna finished her examination and began to pack up her medical supplies, she couldn't shake off the frustration that lingered from her father's call. With an exasperated sigh, she muttered under her breath, "Another blind date? I don't want to get married now."

Unbeknownst to her, Taehyung had overheard her conversation with her father, his keen ears catching every word despite his outwardly indifferent demeanor.

Yuna turned to address Taehyung, her voice tinged with irritation as she asked, "Is there anything else I can assist you with, Mr. Kim?"

Taehyung reclined against the pillows, his expression impassive as he responded in a disinterested tone, "No, that will be all, thank you."

Yuna frowned, sensing the lack of engagement in Taehyung's response. "Are you sure? I could double-check your vitals or-"

"I said that will be all," Taehyung interjected curtly, cutting her off before she could finish her sentence.

Feeling a pang of frustration at his dismissive attitude, Yuna clenched her jaw, struggling to maintain her professional composure. "Very well then. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to call for assistance."

With a terse nod, Yuna gathered her belongings and made her way to the door, her steps heavy with annoyance. As she exited the room, she couldn't shake off the lingering sense of unease that gnawed at her conscience.

Yuna descended the grand staircase of Taehyung's mansion, her thoughts still lingering on the encounter with Taehyung and the unsettling phone call from her father. As she reached the bottom, she was greeted by the warm smiles of Jimin and Jungkook, who were seated in the spacious living room.

"Good morning, Yuna! We thought you might be hungry, so we prepared breakfast. Care to join us?" Jimin's voice was cheerful, his eyes twinkling with genuine concern.

Yuna hesitated for a moment, her initial instinct to decline overshadowed by the realization that she hadn't eaten breakfast yet. "I... I appreciate the offer, but I'm not really hungry," she murmured, her gaze flickering towards the door.

But Jimin's next words stopped her in her tracks. "I know you didn't have your breakfast. You were just woke up when I rang your doorbell," he said with a knowing smile.

Yuna's cheeks flushed with embarrassment at being caught, but she couldn't deny the truth in Jimin's words. With a resigned sigh, she relented, "Alright, I'll join you for breakfast."

Jimin and Jungkook, they turned their attention towards her, their eyes filled with genuine curiosity and admiration.

"So, Yuna, how did you end up becoming a nurse?" Jimin asked, a genuine interest in his voice.

Yuna shifted uncomfortably in her seat, unused to receiving such attention for her profession. "Oh, it's nothing special, really," she replied modestly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "I've always had a passion for helping others, and nursing felt like the natural choice for me."

Jungkook nodded in understanding, a look of appreciation in his eyes. "That's really admirable. Not everyone has the dedication and compassion to pursue a career in nursing."

Yuna smiled gratefully at his words, touched by the sincerity in his praise. "Thank you. But honestly, it's just my job. I do what I can to make a difference in people's lives, but I'm no hero."

Jimin chuckled softly, shaking his head in disbelief. "Trust me, Yuna, you're more of a hero than you realize. The work you do, day in and day out, it's truly remarkable."

Yuna felt a swell of gratitude at Jimin's words, his genuine appreciation warming her heart. "I... I appreciate that, Jimin. Thank you."

As they finished their meal, Yuna's mind was filled with conflicting emotions—gratitude for the unexpected kindness of her hosts, but also a lingering sense of unease about her role in Taehyung's life. She couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to the story than met the eye, and she was determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

Jungkook offered to drive Yuna back to her apartment, his offer accompanied by a warm smile. "It's the least we can do after dragging you here so early in the morning," he said with a chuckle.

Grateful for their hospitality, Yuna accepted Jungkook's offer, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her unexpected hosts. As they made their way to the door, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that perhaps her time at Taehyung's mansion wouldn't be as daunting as she had initially feared.
