As I busied myself with arranging the groceries, the sound of footsteps drew my attention. I turned to see Taehyung standing near the stairs, his presence casting a shadow over the open, modern kitchen that flowed seamlessly into the lavish living room.

Our eyes met briefly, and in that moment, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. There was something comforting about the way his brown eyes seemed to see right through me, yet I couldn't help but feel a twinge of embarrassment and quickly averted my gaze.

Before long, Jimin and Jungkook arrived, breaking the quiet moment. While I had seen Jimin earlier in the morning, Jungkook's presence caught me off guard. He greeted me warmly, but his demeanor was serious, and I sensed an air of tension lingering between them.

But before our conversation could deepen, Jimin interjected with a more serious tone. "Sorry to interrupt, but Jungkook, I think it's time we discuss our plan."

Instantly intrigued, I couldn't help but ask, "What plan?"

Taehyung's response was swift and to the point. "I think you shouldn't know about this," he said, his expression serious as he met my gaze.

Understanding his meaning, I nodded, accepting his decision without protest. "Got it. I'll leave you guys to it," I replied, excusing myself from the conversation.

Returning to the room, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered within me. Taehyung's decision to keep their plan a secret was understandable, but it served as a stark reminder of my place in this world.

Why would they even consider sharing their secret mission with me? After all, they were involved in a world far removed from my own, one filled with danger and intrigue. I had to remind myself that they were mafia, capable of things beyond my imagination.

It had been almost a week since I arrived at the mansion, yet I still found myself at a loss for what to do. Each day seemed to blend into the next, the monotony of my existence weighing heavily on my shoulders. But whenever I caught sight of Taehyung, a strange sensation stirred within me, one that I couldn't quite put into words.

Living in a mansion like this might seem glamorous in fairy tales and movies, but in reality, it was anything but. The silence was deafening, and the walls seemed to close in on me with each passing day. I couldn't bear another moment of boredom, so I made a decision to explore the mansion.

As night began to fall, I ventured through the halls, careful not to disturb any locked doors. Finally, I found myself standing in front of a wooden door at the end of the hallway. With a twist of the knob, the door swung open, revealing a room unlike any I had seen before.

The walls were painted a perfect shade of gray, adorned with photos and musical instruments. In the center of the room stood a grand piano, illuminated by the soft glow of the moonlight. I couldn't help but be drawn to it, my fingers itching to play the familiar melodies I had long since forgotten.

As I reached for the guitar hanging on the wall, memories flooded back to me. It reminded me of a time when life was simpler, when I had the freedom to pursue my passions without fear or hesitation.

Lost in the music, I didn't notice Taehyung's arrival until he began to clap. Startled, I turned to find him leaning against the door frame, his presence commanding yet oddly comforting.

Before I could apologize for intruding, my words tumbled out in a jumbled mess. "I'm sorry, I was just exploring and I found this room, and when I saw the guitar, I couldn't resist," I rambled, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Taehyung's expression softened, and he stepped closer, his gaze lingering on me. "No need to apologize," he said, his voice surprisingly gentle. "You play beautifully."

I couldn't help but smile at his words, a sense of warmth spreading through me. Perhaps this unexpected encounter was exactly what I needed to break free from the monotony of my days in the mansion.
