"Come in Mister and Miss Forger." The man at the orphanage spoke.
Both the agents started looking around at the children and making mental notes.
"We want two kids who can read and write but one should be about 15 years old." Loid said to the man.
"Ah, well then. We have just the pair for you. Quinn and Anya, we have visitors." He called out.
2 girls who were seated in the same room looked up at the visitors.
The older one was polite yet snarky at the same time. She got up from her seat and gave the two agents a polite smile.
"Are you looking for children?? If you are then me and my sister would gladly like to come with you but if your looking for some machines or dummies to play with them you can politely leave." The older girl said. Then her expression changed to a darker and more scary expression. "Or I'll make you leave." She said.
At that very moment, Lydia knew she was the girl she was looking for. She gave the girl her best smile and said, "I want her."
Loid looked at his sister and frowned. She just chose a random girl for the mission without interrogating her.
"Can you read and write." He asked the younger girl.
"Yes. Anya can read and write. Anya will show you something." The small girl said and then looked at her older sister who winked and smiled at her.
The smaller girl smiled at her sister and took the newspaper and started completing the quiz. In no time the quiz was completed by the girl.
"We'll adopt them both. But what about the paper work??" Loid asked the man.
"There's no need for that, just take 'em." The man said and left.
The new family then exited the orphanage.
"So. Quinn is it??"
The red haired girl nodded.
"Are you ready to be my daughter??" Lydia smirked at the girl.
The girl smirked back, "Yes mother."
The pink haired girl who was standing next to Quinn called out to her sister.
"Nee-chan we'll be sisters right." She asked with puppy eyes.
"Not exactly kid. You two will be sisters but cousin sisters. Anya, you will be my daughter but Quinn will be Lydia's daughter." Loid said. This made Anya pout.
"Does that mean Anya can't meet nee-chan??" Anya asked.
"Of course you two can meet each other. It's just that you will live in 2 different houses." Lydia explained to Anya.
"Well then, Anya, let's go home shall we??" Loid asked Anya.
"Anya wants to go home!!" Anya jumped up and down excitedly.
"See you later Lydia. You too Quinn" Loid told the duo.
"Yes Loidy brother." Lydia told her brother.
Despite of being an agent, Lydia was perky and enthusiastic but also deadly when she fought.
Loid and Anya had left which meant the duo too had to leave.
"So, Quinn or shall I say ninny you ready??" Lydia asked her in a fake mysterious tone.
Quinn slightly giggled and said..."Yes mother dear."
And so the crackhead duo left thus beginning an adventure.
