Aparnas's POV.

It was almost dinnertime.

'Where is my towel, Ashi ?' I screamed from the bathroom.

After playing pillow fight, I had coffee, scrolled through Instagram for some time, and decided to take a shower as we planned to go out to get some fresh air.

'I don't know Appu, it may be in my wardrobe. Wait I'll get it for you ' said Ashi and went to her room.

After waiting for 5 long minutes which felt like an eternity, I understood she was playing around with me.

'Ashi, don't you dare play these tricks on me. I quite remember my towel was right on the sofa.' I playfully threatened Ashi.

She is the over-dramatic girl Ashi said 'Is it.. then I'm not giving you your towel, You can only come and take'.

'Come on now, we will be late to go out ' I said trying to convince her with my sweet voice.

After making me wait for almost 10 minutes which according to her was "revenge", she decided to give me my towel so I threatened her that I would never step inside this house again.

She laughed her heart out as she knew that wasn't possible.

This was how we always were. We were like role models for best friends. This was one of the main reasons I love Ashi. She was childish and innocent.

I wore one of her trousers and a tee which she chose.

After getting ready we both stood in front of her vanity mirror and saw ourselves.

We were so much alike and people who never knew us would ask us if we were sisters. Somehow we both had become unofficial sisters, or what people tell sisters from another mother, but our bond was much more than that.

Strange, a year back I never knew her.

We were completely from two different backgrounds and places, yet we fit perfectly right. It was destiny I guess.

Having the same thoughts running in our minds, we both made disgusting faces and laughed.

We decided to deliver Ashis cake which she had prepared and Rome in my bike for some time and call it a day.

Ashi bakes delicious cakes and her business is quite good. For an amateur, she did amazingly well.

After coming back home, we were not in the mood for a big dinner as our lunch was heavy, so we decided to cook Maggie.

Maggie was always our favorite dish. Ashi knew a special way of making them and we loved eating them and watching the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S on Netflix.

That was usually our weekend ritual if we had nothing planned or if we did not have any to-do lists.

We were completely exhausted. Our minds was tired of doing the thinking job.

We both dozed off to sleep watching TV at about midnight.

This time I was half hoping to get a dream and half hoping not to cause the afternoon dream was a big question mark.

I don't know why I was hoping, maybe to meet Mr. White Horse. I don't know. I usually don't wish for any guy to appear in my dream but this was different.

It turned out I never dreamt that night.

Waking up on Monday morning was my hatest. Ashi's alarm was so loud that it could wake up a whole lane, but not her.

Getting a headache from her alarm. I put it off and woke up, got out of bed to get some water, and started my usual yoga routine. Being an early bird I always made sure not to miss my yoga and I was kind of a fitness freak.
