Saito and Toga were both roaming through the city of Yokohama city. Saito now was carrying luggage. They both wore hoodies to cover their head and faces, while they snuck to the league of villains hideout. The entire time they walked, Saitos heart was pounding against his chest, wondering what this place would be like, and how he'd take out Toga considering her and the league knows about his grandmother. Also his grandmother? He had so many new concerns that were starting to hit him all at once.
"Don't be so nervous. They're all fantastic. Except Dabi he can be a little rude." Toga said while looking up at Saito. He decided not to give her eye contact in response, and in response she continued looking at him. "You're really joining the league to kill me, aren't you?" Toga questioned.
Once Toga asked that question, Saito reflected on last night. The night where he came to the conclusion that he would join the league like Toga wanted. But he didn't join because he wanted to be a villain, he figured the best way that he could get closer to Toga without putting other people in danger was by joining the league, and eventually killing her without the other members noticing.
"I don't know anymore..." Saito said in response with a smile as he looked down at Toga. "Maybe I'm starting to lighten up to you." Saito said, before looking ahead again.
Toga continued to stare at him, except this time she frowned instead of her usual smile.
Eventually? They made it to the league of villains hideout. It was in an abandoned building that went underground. It led to a small bar, with booths, chairs, a refrigerator, and other necessities to live. Once Saito walked into the hideout with Toga at his side, everyone turned to look at him immediately.
Saito watched everyone. The more he looked, the more intimidated he started to become. He previously understood what he'd be walking into, but now that he was here, reality started to settle. He was in a room full of villains, and if any of them knew his true intentions, he'd be dead. He previously thought when he joined the league that Toga would keep it secret, since she really wanted him, but as he turned to look at her, he wasn't so sure anymore.
"So this is him, Saito?" A man with white hair, a trench coat, and scars all over his neck approached Saito. He stared deeply at him once he did. "Doesn't look like much. This is the guy you've been raging on about? What about me?!" A man wearing a tight black costume exclaimed very dramatically.
"Y-yeah..I'm.." Saito paused, realizing that Toga gave them his real name. It seemed like he grew deeper and deeper into this storm with every passing moment.
"You're who?" A man wearing a suit, and another man with a cloud of purple smoke for a face questioned.
"Hey! Lay off him!" Toga hugged Saitos arm as everyone began crowding around Saito. The man wearing the tight suit especially as he basically cried through this suit, watching Toga.
Despite Toga trying to defend Saito, everyone continued to stare at him with intense eyes. As he looked into everyone's eyes, he tried to focus on everything Toga has caused. Every pain that she's put into his life. "I'm Saito.." Saito said calmly as he watched the others.
"I don't trust him.." a guy covered in burn scars said while sitting down at one of the booths. "I don't know if he's a spy, a hero, or what. But he's not one of us." The guy said as he stared directly at Saito.
"Told you Dabi was a jerk.." Toga whispered over to Saito.
"Why do you want to join? Let's just start with that." The seemingly leader of the group who wore a trench coat said.
Saito turned to look at the guy in the trench coat, then down at Toga. "Don't look at her..." The other guy at the booth demanded in an intimidating tone.
