"Oh my god guys, look!" Taylor pointed excitedly over to a face paint booth. Danica did her best to keep her pace as the girl practically sprinted away from the rest of the group.

Somehow they were all convinced to get some face paint done, although some were more eager about it than others.

Danica ended up getting a crescent moon on her cheek. Her eyes had become less puffy than they were before, and she was slightly more calm about the situation. Her and Ashlyn were sat silently next to each other on the fountain. She took out her phone and took a picture before opening her messages.

'A lot better,' was a bit of an overstatement, but she looked okay enough in the picture she sent for them to believe her.

When she looked up, Taylor was giggling with Logan's camera in her hands as she held it up in her brother's face.

"Taylor I swear-," he covered his face which was decorated with the butterfly wing that Taylor had forced him to get with her, "Stop!"

Ben was fast asleep against the park's water fountain, entirely unaware that his cousin was elbow deep, snatching coins from it on the other side.

This wasn't nearly as bad of a trip as she thought it would be—well, other than being cheated on. If she was being honest, she'd much rather be with the people here during that than with the band. She loved them obviously, and they loved her, but she knew that if she was at home she'd be sulking. None of them would have done what Tyler did, and as mad as she still was about it, she was kind of grateful that she didn't end up sending Ryland a paragraph that would end up in the lacrosse team group chat.

The seven of them left the park. They had forty more minutes until they had to meet up with the rest of their class at the buses.

They were walking on the sidewalk trying to figure out what to do, when a woman with short black hair approached them.

"Excuse me!" She called out, prompting all of them to turn around, "Would you be interested in a tour of the Sorrel Weed House?"

Danica exchanged glances with Ashlyn, as if they were thinking the same thing.

"A group canceled their tour last minute and now we have some empty spots if you guys are interested," she said, her face making it clear that she was desperate for a tour group, "It's only five dollars a person."

Were they allowed to just give reservations to random teenagers? Something about this felt...off to Danica, but it was probably just the already eerie vibe that Savannah had.

"Wait, really?!" Taylor practically flew into the air at the idea before excitedly turning to the rest of the group, "This place is supposed to be really haunted! We gotta go!"
