*Katsuki Pov : 3 days later*
|\| Breaking News |/|
~|Young male Izuku Midoriya, age 11, has gone missing. He was last sighted 3 days ago entering [enter road name] at 5:02pm shortly followed by a group of boys who are assumed to be his age. Inko Midoriya reported him missing the next morning, saying he hadn't returned home the night before. On searching the area, we have found a large stain on the ground of a neighbouring alleyway. This leads up to suspect kidnap or murder. If you have any leads on what has happened, please contact the following number **********. So please look out for a young male with dark green hair and bright green eyes. |~
My mother turned of the news, a look of horror and panic etched across her face.
"Oh my.. I must go to Inko's house to make sure she is OK. Stay here, Katsuki. Your father will be home soon.."
After giving me a quick squeeze on the shoulder, she pulled on her shoes and grabbed her phone before leaving the house, the door locking behind her. I hadn't moved one inch.
'What have I done.. Did i kill him.. No, I couldn't of.. they didn't find a body but- but there was so much blood- His pulse s- stopped..'
I clenched my fists and banged my head against them.Slightly dizzy, I wiped my cheeks dry, hearing my father unlocking the door. He came up next to me and sat down, hugging me and resting my head on his shoulder, gently holding me as I wept onto it.
*Izuku Pov : Same day*
"Dang it.." I held my chest as blood seeped through my t-shirt. I hurried to the bathroom and took out my med-kit, and reapplied the bandages.
I had found an empty apartment the day before, the first two days after running away. I was passed out in the woods. When I woke up, it was dark again, I had walked through the streets for hours, scavenging for food, unfortunately only being able to find a bit of stale bread. As the sun was rising, I stumbled across a newspaper and saw my face on the front of it.
'Well, now I know that at least one person cares about me, well enough to say I'm missing..' I had thought to myself at the time.Later in the day, I had narrowly missed being seen by Pro-Hero's EraserHead and Present Mic as they went past after patrolling their area in the early twilight hours. Breathing deeply, I turned around, finding myself outside an abandoned apartment block. I opened the door and found myself in the atrium.
By now, I had changed the dressings of my wound and had begun to re-wire the electrics in the generator. It had proved more difficult than it looked as I had cut the power in the surrounding area after linking up a red wire to the wrong socket. Stumbling around in the dark, I found my torch and turned it on as the street lights that had once given me light had now gone out. I could hear a group of people outside talking in low voices. There were at least 3 of them, 2 males and a female from the sound of the voices. I switched off my torch to avoid being noticed, as a bright light in an abandoned building might cause Hero's to investigate.
'Once I've figured out a disguise, I'll have to get some wood or cloth to cover the windows so people won't see the lights on in here..'A loud bang downstairs broke my thoughts. The group of people had entered the building, and a heavy downpour of rain had started, leaking through the broken windows.
"Awwh.. My skirts are all wet now.." said the female from downstairs in a whiny voice, "hmph.""Oh quit whining Toga.. You sound like a 5 year old."
'So the female is called Toga.. I recognise that name from somewhere.'
